CNN showing Larry King Weekend with Naomi Campbell discussing her drug problems.

PMSNBC showing a PMSNBC Investigates about a man being pushed off the subway.

And they wonder why their ratings are going down the toilet...

Tori is right,,something weird in Evangeline is going on. That parish went for Bush and now it is going for Landrieu. It is heavily catholic,,cajun country.

I'm not sure there is enough data to be concerned at this point. My list showed Evangeline as leaning slightly Democrat. Remember that although Bush may have won the Parish by a few percent, I think he won the state by more than that (11%?). So if Terrell lags Bush's performance by 7-8% she wins the state by three. I'll be happy with winning by three votes, let alone percent.

Also... it could easily be Bush's performance two years ago that is out of kilter, not Terrell's. What were the numbers for the "primary" this year?

Lastly, we're talking about a couple hundred votes in one precinct. Let's wait a bit.

Still nothing from precincts in New Orleans (442), St. Tammany (131), Jefferson (261)...the big ones!

"Maybe it IS the FBI holding up things attempting to happen in Orleans."

That is a semi-comforting thought. Iberville Parish has had problems in the past too as has a big part of Baton Rouge.

This is ridiculous; 442 parishes and not one reporting from Orleans yet!

John Ashcroft are you watching this?

Don't worry too much about Evangeline Parish, it can trend Democrat but it doesn't seem to be too heavy in their favor. Avoyelles Parish is the same, Edwin Edwards is from Marksville; also Winn Parish is the home of Earl Kemp and Huey Pierce LONG, so the fact it went Democrat is no surprise. In Central LA, look to Rapides and Grant Parish for our votes. We should hold or exceed there.

Some context from 1996: Brown Roots got a 100,000 vote plurality in Orleans Parish. St. Tammany gave Woody 25,000 of it back. IOW, don't count on Tammany to offset the criminals in Orleans.

No kidding. This is ridiculous. Not one mention of this race on CNN. FR is where I'm getting all info on the returns.
