To my fellow Freepers and Freepettes please write your congressmen and Congresswomen to halt this absurd waste of our money that is being wasted on these green Commie groups.
Have a great weekend my friends. God Bless America and all of you.

Great article. Bump.
Notice how these people can't hold "real" jobs.
They all work for Federaly funded "tax exempt" organizations. These organizations do not make or create anything. They have no viable and justifiable benchmarks to judge their successes. Instead, all indications are that they are a welfare system and a way to funnell more money out of our pockets.

Taxpayer's grants that fund non-governmental organizations are a problem. As big a problem and more costly to the taxpayer indirectly are the tax-exempt foundations that accumulate their funding for groups with their tax-exempt status.

Eliminate the income tax and replace it with a National Retail Sales tax, then tax-exempt status confers no special privileges.

How the feds confiscate your dollars. I'm uninterested in how thieves spend my money. I am interested in getting it back and putting an end to the thievery.

Great article and thanks for posting. I have bookmarked it.
One place to start in 2003 is too make it illegal of any non profit to donate money to a political candidate or political party. If they get caught, they immediately lose their non profit status.
Then the officers, board members and treasure have to face charges of violations of federal campaign laws. Also, their books going back two decades are then open for inspection for other criminal activity re who they fund and to see if they have been funded by criminals or terrorists, or the Axis of Evil countries.

Grants to environmental organizations are a vast and growing problem which will not be solved by the agencies. Congress must step up to its oversight responsibility. Using your money, environmental organizations have developed massive lobbying machines that have quickly extinguished previous efforts to reform the grant-making abuses.Yet the liberal congress critters don't want to give any of your money back to you. They should be held accountable for every vote that spends our money on these organizations that want to cripple our economy.
I would be interested to know how my representatives voted on the funding for these socialist groups.
