Seriously though, I do wonder if many women turn to lesbianism after having an abortion. This might explain why they rave on about abortion, they unconsciously need to defend what they've done. I never thought about it that way. Perhaps. And maybe they want to make others as miserable as they are.

Thank you for posting the links to both of those articles. I wasn't aware of the early history of the feminists, although I did know that Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B Anthony were adamantly against abortion (a fact totally missed by the PBS special about their lives.)

Nice post, toenail. Very few pro-lifers realize what's in that essay. There are feminist for life (like the stunningly beautiful mother of two, Kathy Ireland) who espouse the renewal of the following insights:
Feminism's founding mothers also condemned abortion from two directions. First, they insisted it was immoral to kill an unborn child. Susan B. Anthony, Victoria Woodhill, and virtually every other noted feminist leader of the last century described abortion as "infanticide" and "child- murder."[9]
