It's indeed true that the "research" for this unauthorized biography occured in a vanity thread I posted and that we had help from many people: Balata, ru4liberty, tgsltakoma, gore_war_vet, billthedrill, stand watie, p8riot, dallas, ChadGore, timesink, small voice in the wilderness, bobthenailer, Landru, dubyagee, OKSooner, sultan88, conservative musician, ST.LOUIE1, jla, goldilucky, Cyber-Band, Corin Stormhands, Happygal.

In particular, a special mention for Dallas, who gave us that lovely mudflop, tgsltakoma (who uncovered remarkable likenesses of Mudboy Slim on the Roller Derby circuit), gore_war_vet, p8riot, dallas, OKSooner, bobthenailer, sultan88, conservative musician.

Many of these individuals had several additional biographical facts that I arrived too late or too long to put in my main intro. I do of course intend to share them right now! :)

Every time Mud pings me to a thread I realize how really, really un-cool I am because I can't understand a word of it!!

EXACTLY!! That's kinda the phenomenom I often experience. Especially if I don't know the words to the lyric. But if it's not a song, sometimes I'm still left thinking I should know more than I do!

Like a good poem, Mudboy Slim's posting are subject to several interpretations. Like a good wine, Mudboy Slim's thoughts, while at first seeming utterly ridiculous (like the time he tried to befriend that anti-war demonstrator) improve with age. Like a good dying cat, Mudboy Slim's lyrics command your attention. Like a good sport, he roots for those losers, the Washington Redskins. And like a good Freeper, Mudboy Slim's attitude is always fun, always civil, and patriotic.
