I am cable-deprived ... you said what Landrieu said was what she thought was the "best thing" about Terrell. What was Terrell's comment about what SHE thought was the best thing about Landrieu?
Thanks ... I was wondering ...

There was a thread earlier about him coming to help with GOTV, but that seems a little late in the game now.... All that needed to be set up long ago, but maybe he can lend some encouragement to the effort.

He is coordinating the teams watching for democrat "get out the vote" on election day developments, otherwise known as dirty tricks. We know it is coming, that is how Mary won in 1996. The RNC is sending Reed.

Polls of registered voters in LA show Terrell at 42 and Landrieu at 43. Good for Terrell as LIKELY voters shift to the Republicans. They wouldn't say that on the radio today but it will be a good day for Ms. Terrell and the convervates in the State.
To: Darlin'
If anyone can do it, he can. Makes me feel better, but I wish I was confident that the GOP would have poll watchers at every single polling place in LA this Saturday.

We will have poll watchers at all or at least that is the plan.

Moon Griffon did a good job this morning of contrasting what Landrieu's ads say on radio stations with largely black listeners to those with primarily white listeners. I think he'll be traveling with Suzie on Wednesday, too.

Terrell said Landrieu was good on adoption, and had a good heart about it. It was very sweet.

Watching a taped delay at 8:53 Central...here are my thoughts before I read everyone else.
To: leadpenny
Terrel asked about Louisiana values: faith, love of family, optimism. Terrell talks about closeness of geography of family. What values? Opportunities for kids, grow business, etc. Pretty good answer for Terrell. Nothing outstanding, nothing fatal.
Moral values mentioned. Big ping for Terrell.

I agree with you... its really an issue between a woman and her doctor... not a politician...Excuse me, but didn't you forget someone??
Well, didn't you?
How about the baby?
Yes, you can get the baby's input. Show Mom, her baby on the ultrasound, and then stick the baby in her foot with a needle. If the baby flinches with pain, as she surely will, then baby is telling Mom, "please don't kill me Mom!!"

Whoa! Who did Mary's hair, the Aryan Squad??
To: ewing
Mary asked to keep on topic....she delivers a very scripted, polished, clean answer. I'd almost say she's Hitleryesque.
To: Semper911
Mary says she'll tackle Education first. I guess the Ted Kennedy bill wasn't good enough for her.
To: ewing
Morning After Pill Question:
Mary says don't give it to kids. Mary says her record is distorted. Mary says the National Republican Party attacked her...Al Gore seminar, Mary?
Mary will not answer when she thinks life begins. Mary praddles on how she personally opposes abortion.
Mary says labels don't matter. She won't answer if she is pro-choice or pro-life.
DANCING AROUND THE ISSUE MARY LANDRIEU!!
To: Molly Pitcher
Suzanne says life begins from conception. Good job Suzanne.
She clarifies her position on rape/incest/life of mother.
Journalist asks if she changed her position. She says no. Not a bad performance.
So far it appears the press is friendlier to the Republican. Waiting for the worm to turn...
To: Torie
Thank you! It was sweet ... and gracious!

Terrell says the citizens of Louisiana pay too much in taxes.
Landrieu goes on a rant about the payroll tax BS. Landrieu says the President insisted on a 10 year tax reduction plan!! What an idiot!!!! As if!!!!
To: YaYa123
What services will be cut??
Landrieu says we've gotta cut the military bases, blames it on Rummy. She also says the military can help small businesses use "technologies off the shelf".
Landrieu says she really really really really really wants to grow the economy through tax cuts. Not believable, Mary.
