Just curious, will he be holding any D&D/Harry Potter book burnings while he is in the state?

There's 2 reasons why Ralph Reed is going there. One, he's going to try and get the christian right out to the booths. Abortion is a big issue down there, and 2, he knows this is Louisiana, and there's alot of Rats looking to steal. He's going there to prevent vote fraud, and considering his track record, he is the guy to do it. Personally, he reminds me of Lee Atwater (god bless his soul) and Karl Rove. I wish he was the head of the RNC and was put up there on a national scale, the man is good at what he does, dedicated to conservatism, and a winner.

I could go along with him in the RNC leadership.

As a Georgia activist working on Saxby's campaign and for the GA GOP under Ralph's leadership, the flag wasn't an issue in the Senate race. We won in large part due to the grassroots effort spearheaded by Ralph.

Well, he (Ralph Reed) obviously did a heckuva job in Georgia...but in the absence of an overriding issue like the flag, I wonder if he'll be as effective. TheBigB, Louisiana has the equally important issue of abortion. Mary Landrieu is pro-abortion, even though she hypocritically boasts that she voted to ban partial birth abortion. She conveniently fails to mention that she also voted for every RAT amendment to gut the bill, and only voted for it because she knew that there were not enough votes to override Pres. Clinton's veto. She has also voted with the pro-abortion folks on just about every bill that has come up. Suzie Terrell, on the other hand, is 100% pro-life. I think Ralph Reed can energize the former Tony Perkins supporters, in particular, for which pro-life was their primary issue.

Ralph Reed won the ground war in Georgia by organizing a formidable grassroots organization in 1 1/2 years under his leadership. The Democrats there tried to wage an air war (governor race: outspending Sonny Perdue 7 to 1). Like in real war, air power alone cannot win a war. You need the ground troops. It's great that Ralph is going to Louisanna to help out.
Hope that Ralph can duplicate his methods throughout the US for conservative candidates.

FYI. I got this email late last night....
"Ralph Reed has just sent out a call for Georgians to help Louisiana!
They need on the ground troops to get out the vote for Saturday's US Senate race.
We are in the process of getting vans to make the 9 hour drive to Louisiana tomorrow (Thursday). Transportation and hotels will be provided. If you are able to leave tomorrow (after 12pm) please let us know as soon as possible. We will have vans leaving at different times on Thursday. We will return on Sunday.
We need operatives!
Remember Florida?
This is your chance to make a difference!"

Wish I were near there to help.
May the Force be with Suzie...
