To carry the 007 theme along... what if Bush said "If there is another attack against the US you are history." evil thugs understand this and would keep their minions away form the US. Just a thought,... but there have been no serious incidents in the US since Sept 11.

I don't believe so. IMHO this is a clash of civilizations and we should fight to win. Not to contain, not to harrass, but to win hands down and without question. Unfortunately the only thing the moon-worshiping death cult understands is a sword at their throat. We have to careful not to overextend (tactically) but the strategic goals remain constant - regime change in Iraq, Iran, Syria and Saudi Arabia. Then we better get ready for China.

Wow! 7 of the top 9 al-qaeda backers are Saudi. These guys do one thing and say another...hopefully, they'll get theirs.
