Alan Colmes asked him how he catagorized himself once Republican? Conservative? Libertarian? Williams said that he was a radical. He was a liberal in the classical 18th century sense and he was radical about it. That's how the man defines himself. From what I have seen him write or heard him say he has never associated himself by party and has been quite critical of the whole current mess. Maybe we could get him to do an on-line Q&A here on FR then all would be known.
Actually, he fills in for El Rushbo on his days off.
I know, that is why I go to another sation when Professor Williams is on. His schtick about he being God's gift to women gets a bit old.
BTW, I guess you do not know the golden rule of broadcasting. When a popular radio personality takes a day off or goes on vacation the radio personality tries to find a less talented person, so as not to upstage the radio personality who is on vacation.
That is why you don't hear Hannity or Medved substituting for Rush anymore. They actually kept Rush's audience.
Professor Williams though keeps on going as Rush's sub when Rush is on vacation.
