What if Bush were as eager to control guns as WMD?

The first post that said 'This is a conservative site'? That must have been why I missed the jest, I've seen that not in jest too many times. Second post I guess I did fail to recognise it, but I still responded in jest, not just to you but to everyone, though that was not specified. The 'Damn, man' was meant for everyone who thinks that I agree with what I post, which is usually not the case, but is usually the consequences, and the second was a Yodaism... In Jest.

And no, none of that is backing up on what I said earlier, to try to avoid anything... I'm just trying to include as many commas as possible, into one response. So though I'm sure I haven't properly explained things, and you're sure I haven't properly explained things, I hope I've properly explained things.

What is truly sickening about this article is that these two pants-wetting liberals equate the average American gunowner (which is to say, the average American) with Saddam or other dictators. The former has a 99.999% record of not threatening, much less harming, anyone else, and actually prevents crimes by the million each year. The former can only affect a relatively few people at any one time, even if they go crazy. The latter has already started two wars at a cost of hundreds of thousands of lives and untold misery. He has already used WMDs. The failure of these two bliss ninnies to recognize this difference is par for the course for lieberals - anyone more conservative than them is evil, not just a little, but massively so. We represent the epitome of evil for them because we prevent them from gaining power and imposing their view of the world on all of us. Well, F'em!

Not to mention that there is a very sound set of reasons why the populace should be well-armed, the most important of which is to prevent exactly what these state-worshippers want - a monopoly of force in favor of the central government. Far from giving a rat's hindquarters what these bozos think, I am positively tickled to find myself diametrically opposed to them (along with 80 million fellow gun owners and their 250 million+ guns). As was pointed out earlier, these girly-men don't have the nads to try taking anyone's guns away from them face-to-face. Instead, they're all in favor of taking other people's money (with an implied threat of lethal force for not paying) in order to pay mercenaries to do this task for them.
