Why would ANYONE listen to Die-ane on ANYTHING to do with law enforcement? Doesn't anyone remember her previous foray into this field? When she was mayor of San Francisco, she couldn't wait to get the info to the press about Night Stalker Richard Ramirez's shoeprints out to the press so she could be a hero. A hero to the Night Stalker, that is. Sheesh.

I'll respect Feinstein's opinions on firearms the day she makes her bodyguards use trigger locks.

the senator has stated that the ballistic fingerprinting has linked criminals with previous crime scene ballistics in the system... that is the way it is meant to work, a gun is found on the criminal and the gun is linked used in other unsolved crimes... until a crime is committed, what is the need for a database... registration... i am glad i am not responsible for her tenure in the senate...
