They are completely out of control. How on earth they have become so deluded as to think that they have the right to do the things they do is beyond me.
To: sarcasm
You cant blame "vigilantes" in a situation where the US & Mexican govt has promoted lawlessness. These "vigilantes" are just American citizens trying to defend themselves. Any vigilantism will have to be blamed on those who support a disregard for the rule of law and the rights of our citizens.

Ain't that the truth! Mike Bilirakis, my former semi-worthless Pubbie Congresscritter, won't respond to my correspondance when it comes to border reform, cutting H-1B visas, the RKBA, etc. He loves to talk about Veterans Affairs (he's the chairman of that committee), which is why he's only semi-worthless, but won't address any other concerns.
However, thanks to the most ridiculous case of gerrymandering I've ever seen, I'm now in Florida's 10th Congressional district, and have an even more worthless Pubbie Congresscritter, CW Young. Another in the long line of Florida RINOs...

It doesn't look like Bush is planning on doing a damn thing about securing the borders.

"We want to address respect for the rights of our countrymen," Lopez Nogales said in the press release, calling on the U.S. federal government to reign in armed groups that take the law into their own hands. Well if they stay on their side we can respect them. They step foot across the border, and they become CRIMINALS not worthy of anyone's respect.

"TUCSON, Arizona - The governor of the Mexican state of Sonora plans to ask the U.S. government at the Arizona-Sonora Commission's upcoming annual meeting to stop vigilante groups "hunting" for undocumented immigrants along the border, he said in a press release Tuesday." There is zip they can do about it that will pass Constitutional muster. A man has a right to guard his land, Americans have the right to guard their borders if the government won't. The government works for us, not vise versa. We are not servants or slaves to Washington D.C. or any State of the Union, I think they have forgotten that along with the fact that we are a soverign people living in a sovereign nation.

Let me ask you guys a question. Why do you think normal people risk their lives to illegaly enter the United States?
To: sarcasm
While waiting alone for the ferry to get to work this morning (sitting on the bench and minding my own business, reading the paper), I was harassed my two illegals walking by, who laughed and snickered at me and derisively called me "yankee." Even when they were were about 50 yards away, they looked over their shoulder to watch me. This was in broad daylight, and I was actually frightened...there was no one around and if a knife had been pulled on me, there would have been nothing I could do. I kept thinking about that nun who was strangled and raped and Oregon, and just grew more upset. Totally undeserved. Their disdain for me was written all over their smug faces.
I am FED UP living like this in my own country every day, and it is getting worse. The only way to deal with this invasion is to build a wall along the border (with no Checkpoint Charlie), blast that Third World cesspool with warnings, surround the wall with landmines, and have soldiers shoot on sight any parasites. If it worked for Berlin, it can work for us. I don't care if it is harsh...what is happening to this country is a worse abomination.
To: sarcasm
"We want to address respect for the rights of our countrymen," Lopez Nogales And we want to address respect for our countrymen. If they would stop coming across the border illegally, then there wouldn't be any need for vigilantes.

If the governors try to use troops to take down these militias, then war will begin - here on our own soil. And the enemies will be the government.

To all those cheap sellouts of the American people the one issue is about fairness to Americans and if they take Mexico's side over Americans and treat us like serfs they should be liable to removal to the private sector to treason trials at the extreme.
