Gore Translat-o-matic:

"busloads of people " - anything bigger than a Honda Civic with more than 2 people in it.

"things that we don't want to say on your program" - true things

"buses from "churches," " - cars bigger than a Honda Civic owned by a christian

"we rearranged, you know, they … kids moved to a different part of the house" - the kids almost found out the truth about us.

"I was trying to think of a way that we could kind of laugh about this" - I was curled up on the floor in a fetal position sucking my thumb and crying.

"it was out of our control" - we didn't have FBI files on any of them

"I remember sort of what the government did with Noriega " - I hope they don't remember who was president then.

"put nature sounds on and turned it all the way up. " - I was too stupid to realize that THEY were trying to keep ME awake.

"at least the kids laughed" ...at us.

"There were a few, more than a few who supported us " - we spent our money on lawyers and didn't have enough to rent a large group.

"emotions were running high throughout the country and it was just an unprecedented time. " - I almost had a facial expression.

"But they were all screaming, "Get out of Cheney's house," the whole time. And I just remember being there next to my dad, " - Even to this day, yelling those words causes him to go fetal and cry.

"where are our crowds" - we are the majority, even if everyone disagrees with us.

"We have to do what's best for the country, and it is not good for the country to have this kind of divisiveness." ... but the republican supporters have all the guns.

"There were people who wanted to fan the … the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest" - Clinton wanted a reason to declare martial law and stay on as president.

"he was on the phone asking them not to, because of what was best for the country not because of what was best for him politically" - Al pretended to have dogs to call off.

"It was difficult … It was just very … upsetting that someone would … yell those things at us." - I'm as big a wimp as my dad is.

The Gore
of yore
is still
a boor,
today
and ever more.

Is that network still looking for a real genuine hillbilly family, to plant in a mansion in Beverly Hills, for some more reality TV?

Why are they passing up this perfect family for that gig? Have Republicans seized control of Hollywood too?

And my dad, I'll never forget his response. He said, "We have to do what's best for the country, and it is not good for the country to have this kind of divisiveness. And he was on the phone, really calling off the dogs. There were people who wanted to fan the … the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest. And he was on the phone asking them not to, because of what was best for the country not because of what was best for him politically.

Any real journalist would have asked the identity of these people.

Well it seems to me Al Gore has simply never gotten over his defeat and is still trying to find someone to blame. As Shakespeare put it, "The fault lay not in the stars but in ourselves" - Al should take that advice.

"There were people who wanted to fan the … the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest.

Note how she characteristically resorts to liberal cliches when searching for expressions, and doesn't get either one of the two right.

You're assuming there is a "real" Al Gore. He's probably 50% Polyester and 50% Other. ;)

I actually watched the interview with Bawbwaa WaaWaa the other night and felt sorry for him. Even he doesn't truly know who he is. Pathetic.

Amazing he got as far in life as he has. But being born rich goes further than it used to I suppose.

Algore is running for president again. He's enhancing his resume by claiming victim status. His base loves victims.

Okay, 'fess up. Who was the dude with the megaphone?

I could name 8 of us, men and women, some were Freepers, and some were not.

There was no organization, just a common determination not to leave the corner in the hands of the media.

We were heard, and the media was forced to acknowledge opposition to the coup.

HIs DAddy was a Senator-that beats hell out of being born rich, but he was born rich too. Poor little rich Senator's boy-born with a silver gavel in his mouth, and his daddies boot up his ass, punting him through the goal post to the Whitehouse-too bad the wind was blowing ninty miles an hour toward the left side of the goal and Al landed in the sanitary land field, way out in the boon docks. (my apologies to the lame alleged to be comic strip by the same name that would love to see Al in the Oval office-he is just as black as Clinton after all-maybe more so.

Al Gore is just plain strange though. I've been saying to Apes about how there is no "real" Gore - but have you noticed how absolutely everything about him seems forced? His grin is forced out of his face, his sentences are forced out of his mouth, he forces himself to stand a certain way. No wonder he sweats so much - it's just pure exertion from forcing himself this way and that.

Yet he came very close to being President of the United States. Scary.

Regards, Ivan
