Since everyone living in California knows that everything on your list is either an individual state issue or originated in Mexico, we also recognize how dishonest you are.
Bush has no control over the idiot leftist politicians in border states or what Fox allows to come into law. Tancredo knows this, so should you.

How does GW lower my taxes when he raise the budget by 3/4 Trillion dollars????? Unless you are going to make up this windfall. Eventually I pay for it, dimwit!

While I support President Bush feverently...this open border with Mexico must be stopped.
If Bush doesn't do something about the horde of illegal aliens coming into this country, not only will we see an even more devastating attack that will kill tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of Americans; we will see the GOP base eroded by a vast number of voters that don't adhere to our American values and will by happily bought off with social crap programs the Democrats will bribe them with.
I sometimes wonder if the GOP can't see the forest for the trees.

Nobody that I know in the Douglas county Republican party was the least bit upset with Tancredo's decision to drop his term limit pledge.
---------------------
As far as I'm concerned he's indespensible. To not run would be a nearly criminal act of abondonment of this nation.

Tancredo is at least willing to raise the issue of illegal invasion from mexico. I would support him for that reason alone. No one in the Bush administration will do it.

loose cannons rolling around crashing into this and that with no useful purpose.Call me old fashioned, but I kind of think attempting to preserve our Country's sovereignty is a bit useful - as quaint a notion as that may be these days.

Tancredo's message finds a home in the fear that the influx on Mexicans (legal or illegal) will destroy our civilization, he plays to the fear that this will become a country where "white" will no longer be the majority. You can be coy if you wish, but it doesn't wash.
To: Torie
I heard him [Tancredo] on Freep radio, and cringed. I don't want him. Knowing your left-of-center politics even by low Republican standards I'm glad you cringed. If you didn't cringe, I'd wonder what is wrong with Tancredo.

Again, I live in his district, and nobody I have talked to is upset with the positions he has taken. However, if Bush somehow targets him, it is possible he could lose a primary election. I don't know how likely that is, but I guess it is a possibility.

But, then, I'm grateful that you pay taxes. I always had you pegged as one of those car-on-blocks, oil-stain-in-the-driveway tax protesters.

Rove engineered the GOP majority we have now Gingrich engineered the GOP majority we have now!
Rove is engineering a shift further to the left.

You can be coy if you wish, but it doesn't wash. How do you know I'm white Luis? For all you know, I'm a black man.
You're making assumptions with no basis in fact other than what you want to believe. As I said, you don't like the message, which is a sovereign nation has a right to control its borders and enforce its laws. That's all Tancredo is saying.
Again, I challenge you to show me a race-baiting quote by Tancredo similar to Jesse Jackson.

Fair enough I hereby modify my "anti-Hispanic bias" to "ant-Mexican bias"Happy now.
Whatever salts your margarita. You may want to try to find out why the corrupt Mexican government is so obsessed with dumping millions of it's invading hordes of criminals off on us, though. Just for your own information, of course. Don't you think that's a bit odd...... a leech of a nation trying to dump it's downtrodden off on it's fed-up neighbor? Things are heating up. ¡Pronto!

"Mother Theresa could have come out against illegal immigration and you'd attack her."That's a lie.
Here are my thoughts on illegal immigration.
I attack people like Tancredo for their blatant demagoguery, and their grandstanding. It's a whole lot easier to stand there yelling "PUT OUT THAT FIRE", than to actually douse the flames.
He promised not to run for re-election, he lied. What makes you think he's not lying about his position on immigration?

Since when is executing the law of the land by the chief executive considered pandering?

Sinkspurt, you haven't changed, you still can't answer a question.
To: sinkspur; RLK
Thanks for answering the question RLK posed to me, good job, I have never further to add.
Thanks Sink.

If Riordan would have beat Davis, he would have won the primary. He didn't! The California GOP didn't want him even though they are his "moderate" ilk.
Face it, the Calif GOP are no better than the Keystone Cops and Simon AND Riordan were bad candidates.
