It took about 1.5 hours last night to download on a 50k connection. I'm going to copy it to CD for the folks if that's OK. If we tried it on our 19k line at home, the whole county might go tilt.

Your description of the liberal mindset creates quite a visual. It is unfortunate that these types gravitate toward positions of power and influence, especially where young minds are at stake. You and Candice have obviously done a fine job of passing on some sound principles to the twins.

That's more than OK - stop by this weekend or whenever you get a chance and I'll make as many copies as you'd like in higher quality .mpg format. The .mpg file is 136 MB as opposed to the 25 MB for the .wmv - and aren't you glad we didn't put the .mpg file up on the website!

Self-marking bump. I'll check this out tomorrow, not while I'm in the dial in mode right now.

Thanks for the reply!

I remain curious, what kind of school does your daughter go to? Public? Private? Parochial?

Her short video made me proud. Proud that this country does have the ability to instill decent virtues in young people as your daughter so ably demonstrated.

Believe it or not, she and her twin brother attend a public high school. They are excelling in a relatively non-politicized school system where the only corrections we’ve had to make to their education is to fill in the blanks left by today’s dumbed-down textbooks. The school's 'guidance counselor' is somewhat ofa mush headed- liberal type, but she takes flak every thime she tries one of her stunts. At the rate the twins are going, we expect that they'l lbe able to take advantage of a scholarship or two.

Glad to hear it. I know there are many quality public schools. Those that aren't due to highly political reasons get a lot of press in web sites such as FreeRepublic as well they should.

I downloaded the whole thing (thank goodness for DSL).

The sound level of the principal speaking was low compared to the background music, and I couldn't make the words out. But the rest of it was very nicely done.

How long did it take to put together, and does she have a bibliography?
