Again no one seems to want to hear what you have to say.

Anyone who wants vaccinations has my blessing, I'll not try to discourage you.

The government forced their vaccinations on me 36 years ago, it won't happen again.

Public health officials would be given the power to “coordinate all matters pertaining to the public health emergency,” including the right to seize private property such as “communications devices, carriers, real estate, fuels, food, clothing and health care facilities” and take control of “the use, sale, dispensing, distribution and transportation of food, fuel, clothing and other commodities, alcoholic beverages, firearms, explosives and combustibles” as well as take control of roads and public areas.

To me, this is the part that gives me the most trouble.....that and the elimination of corporate responsibilty. I believe that we should be given a choice, but also realize that if I do not get vaccinated, I would probably be subject to some form of quarantine. Still, this proposed law takes this issue too far. It is over-reacting and un-ethical IMHO. Thanks for posting this article.

Fluouride has no benefits toward the prevention of dental caries that can't be achieved by an adequate diet. Studies in New Zealand where dental records are kept on every child indicate that fluoridation of drinking water had no effect on dental caries.

Fluouride is a toxin. I recommend against it. Why make it compulsory?

That's what I thought. Nothing to say about all of this "evidence" you claim to have seen? No rebuttal of all of the "lunatic fringe" statements?

I'm telling you, there may be a handful of freepers who think the way we do on this subject; it's the result of these poor souls being brainwashed by the system from the time they are born, through their schooling years, and so on. It's not their fault, I truly feel sorry for them.

These poor souls actually believe that fat is bad for them!!
They can't help it. They, the brainwashed, heard of Cholesterol but have they ever heard of: homocysteine, Lipo protein (a) Lp(a), C-reactive protein and stealth bacteria as being the causes of artery diesase? Of course not. Forgive them for what they do not know. I've heard of essentials fats and proteins, has anyone here heard of an essential sugar? I wonder if that's the cause of many diseases? Triglycerides, yes, they are molecules of both sugar and fat. You and I know the truth.

They are so uninformed. We must have pity for them.

Sorry, buddy. I worked with Procter & Gamble in the sixties. On Crest toothpaste, as a matter of fact. And I have first hand experience with the scientific evidence that it does exactly what it says it does.

Sorry, your information is outdated. The evidence over the last twenty years is mounting and it is indicating against the use of fluoride. The addition of fluoride showed benefit only where there were already calcium or boron deficient diets.

I eat as much fatty nasty stuff as I can. I had a cholesterol blood screen done at work years ago just for fun. I even told the nurse that I ate REALLY greasy stuff, like pork, bacon, ribs, all that fun stuff. They were expecting a nice little surprise for me..

HA! They just about went into shock when they saw that my cholesterol was so low, it was almost ABNORMAL... LOL

Why is it that I'm still living after having had two smallpox vaccinations as a child?

I also had quite a cocktail of vaccines when in the service and I think I'm still breathing 20 plus years later. This hysteria is pointless and dangerous.

Let's take the one which might be relevant to the matter at hand. Which is, specifically, whether fluoride has a beneficial effect with respect to the incidence of caries.

"The CDA emphasizes that the need for fluoride depends on overall exposure, including place of residence, diet and oral health habits. and "The CDA recognizes the need to continue to monitor studies on fluoride and general health." Canadian Dental Association, May, 2000

This is a professional dentristy association. Not a medical association, which doesn't profess to know anything at all about the specific matter at hand.

Read it again: "the need for fluoride depends on overall exposure, including place of residence, diet and oral health habits, etc."

So, it is stating that there is a need, that some good purpose can be served. And that, beyond a certain point, additional intake of fluoride is not needed. Not harmful, but "not needed".

Here is another citation for you:

"[This] toothpaste has been found to be a safe and effective decay-preventive dentifrice that can be of significant value when used as directed in a conscientiously applied program of oral hygiene and regular professional care.
Council on Scientific Affairs -- American Dental Association

One final point. What was it, do you suppose, that effected a 70% reduction in the incidence of caries (cavities) in children between 1960 and 1985?

Next time you go to the dentist, ask him when was the last time he had to deal with a crown cavity. Ask him how frequent such caries were back in, say, 1970.

Want proof? Look inside kids' mouths. Count the fillings. Compare to the previous generation.

Then tell me this stuff didn't work...
