Of course, Korn for some reason, believes that if two candidates were selected, then Gore should have gotten those votes.

Well, that's perfectly reasonable. If you're an android dimo.

Last night (Friday night) on the Laura Ingraham Show she said the same thing. She actually said she was among the crowd.

Not to impune Laura, but this post made me think about how, 20-30 years hence, if one were to add up the numbers who said "I was there!" the total would come to 2-3 million! LOL!

"Tipper Played Whale Sounds to Drown Out Protesters"

No, she was trying to summon/invoke Congressman Nadler.

Are they delusional, or what?!!!

I can imagine Al in his smoking jacket and slippers, pretending to read national security briefs while Tipper sets the table for pretend guests of state. Wonder if Sox escaped from clinton and is hanging from the curtains in the living room. LOL!

The sounds were just Tipper bathing

LOL. I was going to post this one with the title: "Tipper communicating with her fellow whales in the Cement Pond!"

You are so right about the Florida FReepers. The rout of Jesse Jackson was a turning point in the battle. The good folks of the Sunshine State would not put up with that race-baiting carpet-bagger and his threats of riots. Like all bullies, Jesse ran when stood up to.

Makes me proud to be a member of the FR family.

Sending the thread to: mundyl@washpost.com.

Thanks, kristinn. DC Freepers are leaving a legacy our military heroes honor and our mainstream press abhors. Good job.

Yep, Laura Ingraham was actually there at the VP freep. She was at FRIVA in Vegas and part of her monologue was about "Get out of Cheney's house". I wouldn't be surprised if Hannity heard about it from her.

We also had a meeting in the ladies room and I learned that she admires Jeb Bush.

LI is personable and funny, and she clerked for Clarence Thomas at the Supremes which she mentioned at FRIVA. FRIVA was great. More people should go next year.

Re: Florida, thank God Florida was on voter fraud high alert this election but there was no room for the dems to cheat. The margin was too far apart. Florida is almost totally Republican represented now. We had so many FR's getting out the vote or who volunteered as poll watchers. We did intel too that came in handy after Janet was given the boot.

Although it was great that President Bush dropped by, Jeb won the election on his own merits with the help of thousands of volunteers who worked tirelessly for almost a year covering all the bases.

He [Clinton] was doing some renovating, with the result that there was a refrigerator on the front porch.

A fridge on the porch is an excellent idea. Eliminates the need to get up off the rocking chair every ten minutes for another beer. Yeah, bringing an ice chest outside would also work, but it's not quite as convenient.

I've pinged Gene McDonald (FReeper, "SeekingTheTruth") to this thread to comment about the Jesse Jackass incident in West Palm Beach. He was the one who was instrumental in routing him out of our State, when he grabbed his bullhorn and, along with some other Florida FReepers, got right in front of the platform and shouted him down before he could even get started.

Many of us also protested in Deland (Volusia County - (where, even though my hair was a different color by then, one of the camera guys from a Daytona Beach TV station remembered me from two years previous to that when we FReepers protested a Clinton/DemocRAT rally in DB with our banner plane flying over. LOL).

Then we went to Sanford, Fl. (Seminole County) to protest in front of the Courthouse the day the judge moved the whole mess to Tallahassee.

As soon as it was transferred to Tallahassee, many of us (I've pinged some of them if they want to comment) spent the weekend up there protesting in front of the Capital. My sister videotaped it all for me from the C-Span coverage. LOL

I will forever be proud that I was one of those freeper protesters yelling across from the VP's mansion in 2000. I heard Laura Ingraham talking about this yesterday and I met her at one of those rallies.

Gene McDonald is one of those FReepers who will always be remembered and respected as one of the best. Old Timers in this forum will know what I mean. There are many more just like him - including the DC bunch.

Excuse me, but I believe that the creature in question is a manatee, not a whale - although both are frequently mistaken for Tipper.

Tipper probably has no idea that he tactic didn't work. It's more than a 100 yards from the VP Mansion to the fence at the closest point, and that's well down the hill on Mass Av from where the crowds were.

I went down that far and waved at the traffic wearing the Al Gore mask, prison strip costume and "Sore Loserman" sign. That was to get driver's attention so they'd be prepared to take in the protest up the road. So they'd be able to join in one way or the other.

Lot's of libs didn't get that I wasn't on their side because I was wearing the Gore mask. They'd start off smiling and waving and then sputter and give the finger when they realzed the sign was "Sore Loserman".

Well dresses\d Sabb driving, , bejeweled, beauty palored, society matrons busting a gut trying to release all their anger through one little finger.
