Understood, but my comparison was just on the number of votes - 3000 in Alabama is aboout equivilent to 500 in SD.

Yes, there was quite an uproar. Huckabee was to move in and Tucker would NOT move out. There were all kinds of decrees demanding Tucker leave and of course, he finally did, but not without embarrassing Arkansas once again. Tucker was convicted and was forced to step down. (I think it was Huckabee who was to move in) Perhaps an Arkansas freeper remembers.
