So this is to be awarded on St. Patrick's Day in NYC. I wonder if either Clinton will show up at the parade that day. I understand neither showed for the Veterans' Day parade in NYC yesterday. Anybody know where the Clintons were yesterday?

This NY Times article on the parade mentions the presence of Mayor Bloomberg and Sen. Schumer, but makes no mention of either Clinton.

"Irish American Democrats spokeswoman, Stella O'Leary, said that both events next year showed the Clintons' unwavering commitment to the Irish peace process."

......translation: "Both events show the Clintons' never-ending search to patch up their "legacy" and keep them forever in the limelight.........."

I wonder whose arm got twisted out of its socket, on behalf of Billy O'Clinton, to set up this sorry soiree.....YUCK!!

There is also a statue of Clinton in Ireland. It's been there now for years. I will look for a link.

Hillary may have skipped the parade, but she was politicking at a VA hospital, according to the NY Daily News:

At the Veterans Administration hospital on E. 23rd St., Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) joined with the Eastern Paralyzed Veterans Association to call for increased funding for VA hospitals in the Northeast and Midwest.

Federal formulas shortchange hospitals by refusing to take into account that a greater percentage of veterans in the two regions have costly ailments and cannot pay their medical bills.

At the hospital, Clinton also videotaped an interview with World War II vet Manuel Cantos, 82. The recording will be sent to the Library of Congress as part of an ongoing project collecting the oral histories of U.S. veterans. link to story

Aha, so that's where she was, thanks. A scripted appearance where nobody had a chance to boo her.

You have to wonder about whenever x42 returns to a place like Ireland or Australia - someplace he visits frequently and reportedly parties hearty - whether a busload of women is there to greet him. "Bill, don't you remember, you said we'd get together again next time you were in town?"

I LOVE IT. Just keep Clintoon in the limelight until AFTER the 2004 elections.. PLEASE!!!!!

BTW,.. as a person of Irish heritage, I find anything with Bill Clintons name attached to it UN-Irish and disgusting. I KNOW I speak for a multitude of Irishmen/women. Then there are those of Cherokee and German heritage that he will never represent, who I can also speak for (sure, not all of them.. but a heck of a lot of them and I think even the majority of them!!). This is nothing more than a ploy by the Idol Worshipping Dems who can't get over bubba. Those in the DemoCRAPPY party who just don't get it..and won't until they are in the EXTREME minority.. I say bring it on!!

Lets hope this TREND continues. I PRAY they keep bubba in the limelight.. it served them sooooo well in this past election. :o)

Poor Harry was crucified in a Loyalist area but recent news suggests he may have been attacked by republicans in Poleglass, driven across to Seymour Hill, dragged to the fence and crucified.

The latest proposal is to put people like those who crucified Harry into a local reserve police force. It seems that your Mr Haass might be backing this proposal. What can be done?

Latest from Haass

Why is the Bush administration pressing for Irish terrorists in goverment after 9/11?
