Thanks for the ping, but I will not be able to attend. However, I hope you all enjoy; it's a great museum/library.

Gracey...I would love to catch up with my fine Texas FReeper friends but I will be blowing bubbles in the South Pacific looking at WW2 wrecks and the new critters that inhabit them.
The 2 BIG holidays are upon us...and between that trip and the one to Maryland...I am swamped with weekend obligations and travel!
BIG Texas FReeper BUMP for the Bush Library Trip!!!

The Heart of Texas Chapter (HOT) of Free Republic would like to invite any interested Freepers and their families to join us on
Saturday, November 23rd for a day at the George H.W. Bush Library and Museum in College Station, Texas. We will meet at noon inside the entrance to the museum. Afterwards we plan to go to a local restaurant for some good food and conversation.
My apologies for any duplicate pings.

I'll do my best to talk my wife into going. She doesn't freep at the moment so this is kind of my own wierd little world as far as she's concerned. But I promise you she's a freeper at heart - she just doesn't know it yet.

Hometown bump!
I live down the road from the library but, alas, my dance card is full for that day. Have a great time, everyone!

I'll have to talk the Boss into going, but it sounds fun!

I live down the road Maybe you can help us pick a suitable restaurant. Most of the places I remember are probably closed now.

I used to live right behind Fatburger in North Ramparts condos. Behind mudlot to be exact. Is mudlot still there, or did they finally pave it?
To: DrewsDad
I would love to go! Unfortunately or fortunately I am taking some middle school GT students with a teacher to see a re-enactment of the civil war near Hempstead-- that same day. Thanks for the invite -- keep me posted please! :o)
