You make an excellent point...but I've been thinking it might just benefit Republican interests to tap Rudy for VP in 2004 and then put him up in 2008 with Condi as his VP candidate. Would be hard to beat that combination!

What about Condi as VP in '04? Sets her up nicely for '08. Not that I have anything against Cheney, but he won't be running for pres. Maybe Cheney and Condi could swap jobs. I like Rudy as senator, and he would make a great president, but with cancer in his background, he probably could not be elected to presidency. Expect opponents to use his personal life against him as well. Remember the RAT (was in in South Carolina?) who made the crack about Rudy leaving his wife and moving in with two gay guys and a dog?

You make several good points...and regardless of how this all plays out...we need to field someone who actually has a chance of beating Mrs Clinton. Too bad we don't have 2 somebodys in NY who could take out Chuckie in '04 and hitlery in '06!

My view is that she had Wellstone murdered so there would be no one to her left for the 2008 presidential election. She can fake centrist position and hide her anti-American, one world beliefs by simply lying and there will be no one (on the commie side) to stop her.

Vulnerable in 2006? You are dreaming. Look what she and the NY lefties did to McCall, the first black candidate ever for NY governor. They protected Cuomo (sure he is a loser, but he is not a "loser") and let McCall twist in the wind. They refused to fund him. The Hillie fund raisers for McCall funneled cash THROUGH her organization and not directly to McCall. He wound up getting nothing. Have you heard from Sharpton, Rangle, or any of the other black thugs from NYC? Damn right, you haven't! They are the house Afro-Americans that look at their shoes and say "yes, massa" when Willie or Hille or their enforcers speak.

This is fine for Hillie. It will allow her to focus on things she opposes that Bush does. And, with lying, no internal opposition, continued dem corruption and thievery, and further financial support from foreigners, she could be a problem in 2008.

Since 9/11 haven't the American people suffered enough?

...we must continue to educate people on her cold-blooded pursuit of power, which began decades ago. Great sources are No One Left to Lie To by Christopher Hitchens, and The case against Hillary Clinton by Peggy Noonan.

Also, check out the book Rules for Radicals: A Practical Primer for Realistic Radicals written by her mentor Saul Alinsky.

Hillary would not have a snowball's chance IMO. Women do not respect her and this week's election indicates that the Clintons are generally out of style. Men would vote in droves against her as well. Personally, I hope she gets the nod in 2008.

Unfortunatley, as much as I like and respect Condi, neither do I think she can win the big job unless the political environment changes a lot by 2008. I honestly don't think the country is going to elect a female prez anytime in the near future. I think it would be a very dangerous proposition for the Pubs. It's not like NOW will support her and I don't think "moderate" women will vote for her just because she is a woman. In fact, they might vote against her because she is a woman. Look at Liddy Dole. She is a well spoken moderate female and has limited support nationally. Coni's minority status will not gain her a significant portion of the minority vote either IMO. Look at how the Rats treat Justice Thomas, Colin Powell, JC Watts, and even Condi herself. Jesse Jackson will be the first to call her a traitor to blacks, unless Belafonte beats him to it.

Feel free to disagree, I just call it like I see it.

her negative ratings were still too high to venture out now.

See there, she's COUNTING on us to forget; they always do that; they try to wait it out.

I, for one, will NEVER forget.

Condi Rice is brilliant, attractive, articulate, and thoroughly capable. I believe that the GOP looks at her and sees how great she is. But never forget that she is single. I can't imagine this country being ready to elect a single person to the presidency or vice-presidency.

Boy, are you right about that one. Take a look at Mrs. Dole today compared to when she campaigned for Dole in '96. She really looks old. Of course, she did win the election...

I'm 63 and have less wrinkles than this babe. Must be all those phony smiles that gave them to her?

Liddy Dole is only slightly to the political right of slick willie. She campaigned on gun control in 2000. Duh. She is also pushing for requiring all teen-agers who want a drivers license to get drug tested first (I wonder what would happen to people who test false-positive; those tests are not perfect).

She is well-spoken but not conservative at all.

Reminds me of an old Ray Milland movie! Can't remember the name of it but in the end he plucked out his eyes so he wouldn't see beneath people's clothes and then into their psyches. Anyone remember the name of it?

I agree totally with Condi as Bush's running mate in 2004. This would set her up nicely to counter a run by Hitlery in 2008 and would serve to quiet the DemocRatBastard critics who view Republicans as nothing more than racists and sexists.

My greatest fear concerning a Hitlery presidency is the possibility of First Lady Bill becoming Secretary General of the U.N at the same time, and this less-than-dynamic duo will have pulled off the ultimate power play - king and queen of the U.S. and the world.
