This is one major issue I don't really worry about very much. Here is why.
Our God is a mighty God! And the Temple Mount is a piece of real estate that is very important to Him. Jesus Christ, in late 29 AD or early 30 AD referred to it as "the holy place" (Mathew 24:15)--the old testiment prophecies are replete with descriptions of future events, important in God's Plan, which are related to this piece of real estate.
God really exists. He is really in charge and will deal with all of these kinds of challanges in a way that will glorify His Name. So we have to see current developments as part of God's program--He will deal with it--guaranteed.

I can't blame the Muslims for doing what Muslims always do. It's the suicidal, koolaid-guzzling Israeli secular leftists who have been letting the Muslims run wild, who should be blamed.

Agree..it is PC to let the Muslims tell lies and nod in agreement and even call them the followers of a religion of 'love". It is ,as it has always been, PC to blame the Jews for everything from the conditions of the heathan muslims to acne...
But God is faithful..He hears the cries of His people and He will delivery justice

Bingo. Jewish anti-Semites are the worst of the worst.

Israel today is suffering from a culture increasingly dominated by an orthodox Islamic interpretation of history. According to this interpretation, the Temple in Jerusalem has nothing to do with the Jews, the Bible was re-written to contradict Islam, the Jews are descendants of monkey and pigs, America is engaged in a crusade to destroy Islam, while Muslim jihad is a purely spiritual concept, and so forth. The Christian point of view of all of this is also worthy of consideration. The two mosques were built by the muslim conquerors on the Temple mount after they siezed it from its former Roman Christian (we now say "Byzantine") rulers. At that time, Jeruslem's population was predominantly Orthodox Christian.
When the muslims built the mosques, they inscribed in their interiors verses from the Quran that are particularly anti-Christian, and especially against the Incarnation and Trinity. So the mosques represent not only islam's "triumph" over Judaism, but also over Christianity.
Now the islamists have allied themselves with pseudo-intellectual "Western" revisionist "Biblical scholars", who claim that David and Solomon didn't even exist, that the Jewish claim to the Holy Land was invented out of whole cloth during the Persian period, that Paul was the "inventor" of Christianity, and all sorts of other claptrap. If there was no Solomon, there was of course no Solomon's Temple on the Temple Mount. Besides the obvious implications of that statement for Jews, it also means that Jesus neither taught nor was arrested in the Temple. Thus, much of the New Testament falls away, just as the muslims want.
The BIG LIES of the islamists and their pseudo-intellectual "Western" shills and enablers must be exposed for what they are!!!!

SJackson, thanks for the good read.
David, thanks for the good reminder.
My blood always starts to boil when I read about what the "peace loving" Muslims are doing to the Temple Mount. Thanks for helping me put it back into the right perspective.

Great article!
The massive construction work being done on the Temple Mount has led to a predictable result: the imminent collapse of one of the Temple Mount walls.
Look at the bright side. The last Friday* of Ramadan is the beginning of Chanukah.
Daniel 8:11 Yea, he magnified [himself] even to the prince of the host, and by him ha-tamid was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
Hmmm? Well, I'm trying to be an optimist here!

>>It is nice to imagine that Islam is a tolerant religion, but it would be even nicer if there were any good grounds for such imagination.
I will become tolerant of Islam when there are churches and synagogues in downtown Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, Damascus, Islamabad, Jakarta, and similar locales, and the locals aren't trying to burn down the structures and kill the attendees.
BTW, this line really shuts up "can't we all just get along" liberals and really gets those who haven't thought about it, thinking correctly.

Whether by the hand of righteous men or by the hand of Hashem -- Eretz Yisrael will be cleansed of the Islamo-facist invaders. Right on!!! Jews could have lived in peace if only the Muslim had accepted them. Built a very prosperous nation that would have helped out Arab nations with agriculture and technology. But since they don't ......

Eretz Yisrael bump! Thanks for the ping.
Now, how will the tolerant Muslims react to that absurdly pro-Muslim compromise? Who wants to wager that they wont scream bloody murder?
Religion of peace. Another lie.
