I am curious- about how many voters per precinct in Florida? It would seem to me that the answer to many of the problems would simply be to have more precincts.
Here in Pittsburgh, I don't think we could possibly have hour long lines if we had everyone show up at once.

P.S. Got some early numbers from Palm Beach County.
Buchanan is leading. ROFL!! Got his 0.2 percent early this year, eh?

My wife and I voted early - last week - and both of us pulled the straight GOP lever.
I told all my conservative friends to get off their duffs and vote.

"I am curious- about how many voters per precinct in Florida?"Well, that's difficult to figure.
It depends where all the dead people are voting.

My husband and I voted absentee in NJ, straight Republican ticket. This area will go Republican, but it won't be enough to elect Forrester.
Broken Glass Republican

Yes. Bad leadpenny. Bad, bad leadpenny.
As penance, you must find 3 people who haven't voted and pester them.

#28...Dales, here in Florida we have a ton of stuff on our ballot ......not only Governor, and House Rep., but Attorney General and State Reps.....and the infamous Florida Supreme Court AND a bunch of Amendments!
That's why it takes so long!
To: Luis Gonzalez
LOL
Let me rephrase-- how many registered names are there, approximately, per precinct or voting station?

I voted early last week and there were quite a few people waiting in line to vote. Voted straight Republican. My husband is going this morning.

Overcame rain, a flat tire, and more rain to be the second person in line when the polls opened. Voted for Tony Perkins(R) in the primary against Mary Landrieu(RAT). Forecast is for heavy rain all day.

Just voted in Gwinnett County GA for Saxby Chambliss (goodbye Cleland, I hope) and straight Republican ticket.
My precinct is almost completely Republican, and there was a great turnout. We waited in line for almost an hour.
