Just voted here in Cherokee County, Georgia - John Linder's district. Raining like crazy...GREAT turnout at our precinct...NO Dems on local ballot - NONE!!!

The poll workers all seemed to be trying to sell us on the "wow factor" of the new touch-screen voting machines. I told the lady that all the fancy machines in the world won't matter if you don't vote for the right candidate! I'm not real sure she liked that comment.

One thing I noticed...ALL Dems on statewide ballot were listed first, regardless of alphabetical order of name, incumbency or whatever. I found that a little "interesting." It won't make any difference in our district, but maybe elsewhere around the state it will.

I proudly voted against the wheelchair!!!

Madcelt and I both voted on Saturday. Straight (R) except for the clerk of court (only bad choices here). The poll workers said they thought they would break the early voting turnout record. The polling place down the street was PACKED this morning, in spite of the rain.

I'm in VA05: Voted for Virgil Goode, Congress; Chose not to vote for anyone for Senate (Warner has done ill to many PUBS in my state).

Voted no on the bond issues; had no clue about the constitutional reforms - left those blank. I should have done more research.

DNC has studied every election law in every state and will use all means necessary to usurp them

Hell yes, they have 10,000 attorneys with orders to challenge everything! I fear we'll not know for a week, if then.

I was voter 170 in my Richmond Va area precinct. The line was steady but not overwhelming. Only 3 voting booths instead of the usual 5 to 7. One of the precinct workers mentioned that they thought 3 would not be enough but that was all they were alloted. I had to wait in line about 10 minutes. The woman who walked me to my booth said to make sure that my ballot was punched. Hee, hee - no Floriduh debacles here. No misguided chads on MY ballot.

Voted for: Warner, Cantor and both constitutional amendments.
Voted no for both bond issues.

Weather report calls for rain for the after-work crowd.
