Missouri -- Talent for Senate. Libertarian in others where there was one, Republican if not. NO on all but two judges. NO on all propositions and amendments.

Voted this morning in Virginia - turnout was light. Voted for Warner and Wolf (both are easy winners) and NO SALES TAX increase - too much was going to mass transit and not enough was going for roads.

Did my part here in Oakland, Kalifornia. Took my two year old boy and let him press the "cast ballot" button at the end. He's thrilled.

I know, but the alternative is unthinkable! NO RATS!!
We also voted no on 52, the election day voter registration---only dishonest, despicable RATS would go for this!

Went to vote around 11:30 a.m. in Meade county SD. No parking spaces, so left and came back around 01:00 p.m. Parking spaces then, no lines, but all the voting booths were full. According to TV news tonight, SD is expecting record 75% voter turnout (for a non-presidential election, I assume).
Voted all Republican for major offices (Thune, Janklow, Rounds). Considered voting Democrat after getting ticked off about a couple of issues -- but then came to my senses and decided that I just couldn't vote for Johnson which means Daschle which means most worst of all -- the party of Ted Kennedy.
Republicans were doing a good job getting the vote out. Was called about 10:00 a.m. and asked if there was anything they could do to help with getting to the polls, etc. and then was called again about 02:30 and asked if i had voted.

Here is the deceptive explanation for Prop 52 in the voter pamphlet sent to all Californian voters:
Election day voter registration. Voter fraud penalties. Initiative statute. Allows legally eligible persons to register to vote on election day. Increases criminal penalties for voter and voter registration fraud. Criminalizes conspiracy to commit voter fraud....No anticipated net county costs...Annual state costs about $6 million to fund....
Here is what it allows:
Allows people to register to vote at the polls with NO photo ID or official ID. Junk mail is considered proper ID under Prop 52! Worse, it prevents ballots from being checked for fraud.
Reread the voters pamphlet wording on preventing fraud then reread what it allows preventing the ballots from being checked for fraud. Duh!!!

I proudly cast my vote for Republicans this good day in the defense of liberty.

I wished I could have voted on secession but I'm down here in Long Beach. Even my lib fiend up in the Valley was voting yes, it should be a landslide for secession.
