"I expect preparations are being made to comprehend the chance that some other ME country will intervene."

I expect you are right.

I hope you are wrong.

I'm glad preparations are underway, just in case.

Syria (including Lebanon) or Iran or both plus "renegades" from other countries such as Saudi Arabia and Egypt plus widespread (global) terror attacks. Hope the Israelis are up to it.

I don't see how the Iranians can really get their troops motivated - the country is on the verge of an anti-Islamist revolution.

Generally, I agree. A half dozen Iranian 'kamakazi' pilots (radical Islamists) attacking a carrier group could bring air strikes on their bases and spark a larger war though.

Maybe that's what will happen. Remember it will take several months to place a force of the size we had in Desert Storm in place. I think something like 6 months was needed for it, but then again we may not use that size force in deployment.

However I suspect that preperations have been ongoing for sometime now even if we don't know about it, training, equiping, contracts for overseas deployment needs.... there is a lot to be done to move this along the path. JMO of course.

IMHO, this "war", actually only a new front in the Terror War. Started in 1979 in Iran when the "students" siezed the American Embassy, President Jimmy Carter rolled over in self-defeatism's pathetic failure. That act of war should have exacted an awesome price from that Islamic trash for invading our national soil and threatening to kill our citizens.

Sleepers and other trouble makers could crash the British economy if they act in swarms overwhelming any and all "local" authorities ability to respond to infrastructure damage and mass assassinations. Europe is frightened of Pan-Islam because they are cowards shrinking from history's calling to protect peace. Eurabia is their future and they don't care to know it.

Brits can sleep well knowing that their own socialist governments have disarmed them while the 21st Century's Hun is at their door and armed to the teeth.

One would think that they would have learned from Dunkirk's brutal lesson, except that I think they learned that America will always come to their aid when they fail to protect themselves.

This is a British 'call-up' to come help us. They're beside us in most of our conflicts and I'm grateful!! Thanks, Brits.

"Unintended consequences" are not the same as unforseen consequences. We will see few unforseen consequences. We hit- certain Islamic terrorist attack a few places across the world. Not intended but forseen and probably merely pushed up on the time table. Just a matter of when do you want it now or 6, 8, 12 months from now?

Little will result from the above but the prospect is enough to scare the RAT media and those who believe it.

No other Islamic country will join Iraq in this. They are unfortunately not that stupid. It would be preferable to clear out all these rats now before they become stronger.

"Prayers for all the troops involved"

Amen to that.

I think that the US and British governments have info too alarming to share with the public. We could take care of Iraq without massive call up of reservists.

May God bless us all.
