Call 911, 15 minutes.

Call 9mm, .5 seconds.

You do the math.

Similar thing happened back home, a female police officer responding to a call regarding armed individuals and was confronted by a bike gang, they kicked the crap out of her partner then they stuck her head in the patrol car window and cranked it up so she couldnt get out, then they ran a train on her and left her for dead... So how can the police take care of the lowly unarmed civillian when they cant take care of themselves...

hell, prior to 9-11 I always wore steel-toed boots and carried my 3.5" drop-point folder by GT Knives (gratuitous plug: GT makes the best folding knife I have ever owned, worth every penny of the $135 price) whenever I got on a plane. I'm not saying I could have stopped a terrorist armed with a box-cutter, but I am quite certain I would have given him a hard time. Nowadays? Sheesh. I have to put my folder in my checked luggage and wear friggin' slippers if I want to make my flight.
Let all CCW permit holders carry on flights -with low velocity friable ammo- and let's see how many planes get jacked then.

(Sarcasm ON)

Now demonsthenes, that would be waaaaaay too dangerous to risk! And besides, it might scaaare the passengers!! (Lions, tigers, bears, and GUNS!, oh my!)

It would be a much, MUCH better solution to just have a military jet fighter shoot the passenger plane out of the sky. Yes, sir, that's the smart, politically correct way to handle things!
