Thanks, I was lucky. Just cuts, bruises, and a broken tooth.
I use to work that area in the 70's and 80's. When Landover Mall was first built it was like the prototype mall with the latest and greatest. Then came mass transit and the onslaught of thugs and hoods.
It soon became unsafe to go anywhere near Landover Mall or for that fact, anywhere in the Landover area.
Be happy you escaped with your life...I am.

Oh, I am, I am. I just thought my experience, both with the thugs and with the press, was relevant to this thread.
To tell you the truth, I'm now madder at the press than at the thugs. If they had been doing their business, I might have been wiser, and avoided the danger. And if they had done their business about the attack on me, others might have avoided similar attacks later. But they don't do their business, and thereby they betray their trade.
I have concerns journalists may even drop the ball on the whole story and its significance regarding the sniper murders. We will have to help push them to be honest about what is right before their eyes.
One PC lameness example - Police spotted suspects' car 10 times during sniper spree.
