I have been thinking about your story for awhile, md. I was just getting ready to post about what you said before you got here. (But I've been trying to find a TV!)
I remember you said the guy lives in Hampton and works in NC over the weekend. This would be on his way home from NC. Correct? If this is the guy.
Take a deep breath.

Gas station owner said a woman came in about 8:00pm and said a guy was shot in the parking lot. HE called and about 3 seconds later the police filled the parking lot with flashing lights. I headed a Lt. say the shot was at 7:59 pm which would say the sniper had a 30 minute head start (in my opinion) There was a road block 60 miles north on 95 (it should be ok to report that now)
Ch 9 thinks the guy was shot once in the back.

No, it's not on his way home from NC but it is 1 1/2 hours from Hampton up the same path all shotings are taking from Hampton. I bet next shooting will be south but he has obviosly tried to change it all up so who knows. (P.S. still shaking from Knuckles and Rusty post!)

Funny... on this thread the news broke at 9:14 and on the other thread at the same time. Rita Cosby had a police Lt on the phone saying the shot was at 7:59pm. The Gas station guy called 911 at about 8:00 and the cops arrived 3 seconds later.
