This is not good. We need to get the Christian voters to the polls!

Right. More like "Religious right, please stay home".
When was the last time you saw an article about how the liberal left might stay home?
To: jmstein7
Well if they stay home instead of voting and allow the Rats to take control
It will be THEM I will blame .. every vote counts
VOTE THE RATS OUT!!!

I am a bona fide, card carrying, fanatical member of the Christian Right (the other side, of course, being "wrong") AND I am NOT staying home.
Neat attempt at brainwashing 'Business Weekly'.... but you lose.

Right. More like "Religious right, please stay home". Exactly. Business Week is the "business" periodical(magazine) for the left(i.e "New" Democrats such as the Clintons).
Fortune also has a leftist bias, but it isn't as biased as Business Week's.
Forbe's magazine is the most unbiased in the world of business magazines, IMHO.
Of course DU'ers will scream that Forbe's is biased towrds the right, but if you take a look at Forbes's and that other rightist "icon" The Wall Street Journal, you will see that both of the publications are fair and balanced.
It seems that Roger Ailes(the head of Fox News) took his cue from Forbe's and the WSJ, and it took him to the top of the cable world.
Business Week is the CNN of the business periodical world, IMO.

I don't give one iota of credence to this very poorly written article. We have NO data to support the assertions. "Polls show..." doesn't cut it with me, unless they NAME the polls and provide source data and the date the data was solicited.
I wouldn't lose sleep over this one, jmstein7.

"Voters give Democrats a big edge on domestic issues that usually are most significant in deciding elections, such as Social Security, health care, and education. Yet, voters give Republicans a large big advantage on fighting terrorism and handling international relations"
What about the polls that show the republicans as being better able to handle the economy ? They've left the "economy" word out altogether. And given the source, I don't think this was unintentional.

Exactly. I can't believe the "religious right" aren't more anxious than ever to support the president and get those worthless democrats out. Has anyone heard anything about this? Maybe the author is judging by how politically active the Christian Coalition is rather than the whole of Christian voters. There are millions of Christians out here they don't even know exists.

As long as you vote, sleep all you want :). Another Christian rightwinger who is headed to the polls.

What good is it going to do when the Demoncrats change the candidates and are prepared to take legal action in all races that matter to them.
We will sit on our butts and let it happen, we always do, then we'll bitch about it for another four years. Conservatives are all talk and no action, they won't even vote when it matters.

This will make them even more surprised when we kick butt in less than three weeks.
I disagree that the signs indicate minority turnout will be higher than previously. I haven't seen the NAACP running ads accusing Bush of sponsoring chain-dragging murders this time.

>>>The economy is in the dumps...BS!
We have the lowest interest rates in 40 years, productivity is up, unemployment is low and the housing market is booming. The fact that the stock market is down from its high levels of irrational exuberance, is no reason to condemn the entire American economy.
And I doubt that the "Religious Right" is going to stay at home on election day and handover control of the Congress to the Democrats. Republicans are almost guaranteed to hold onto the House and have an excellent chance of retaking the Senate.
To: jmstein7
This does not seem accurate to me. In fact, all the polls I saw monitoring voter motivation indicate the GOP is far more motivated than the Dems......
To: jmstein7
This is more left wing self fulfilling prophessy. They are saying conservatives will stay home hopping to induce them to actually stay home.
This is the same with the Democrat polls (see zogby) with leads that do not make sense. If toricelli was still in the race the dems would have polls proclaming him ahead.
The tight races are going to be won with democrat fraud. Democrats must must must be voted out of office.
18 electronic voting machines in broward are "missing". Look for tight votes.
Time to rally the possy. Instead of the guns the bad guys we are going to go vote to eliminate the bad guys.

Wish I'as old enough to vote.

Bill Wolman's leftist rag hasn't been a serious publication for decades. And going back that far I'm not even sure about that.
The subject of judicial nominees should infuriate enough to get out and vote, and VOTE THE WHOLE BALLOT.
To: jmstein7
I think I'm gonna throw up - especially on behalf of California where Bill Simon needs every vote he can get. Otherwise, we're stuck with four more years of "Gay" Davis who has destroyed the unborn and families.

PAY NO ATTENTION TO THAT MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!
