Yes, all is quiet tonight....but a feeling of dread still lingers...has he quit, moved on or toying with everyone....

For 5 short hours I forgot about all this craziness, cheering the swimmers at my daughters meet.

Then I drove home passed the Michael's about 2 miles from here... :)

tk doesn't like RadioFR (see #499) - can't say that I blame him.

I'll be nice and just say that RadioFR doesn't compete with the CDs we were listening to last night. :) (tk may have a more vivid way of expressing this.)

The good news is that if all we have to complain about it RadioFR, then things must be in pretty good shape!

I've never heard FR radio before.

it has potential, but not with the kind of screaming dumbass ad(s) they sold themselves for tonight.
$0.02

anyway, i've had all the lyin' 'public servant' bullshit i can stand for one day,
which is something, considering i've only been in here a couple hours or so since this morning.

g'night all.
prayers for my neighbors to the south ...

Yea, last night was fun. We went from DC slaying to CD playing :) Sorry, my bad.

While we were cracking up here earlier (if you caught the bit about the bellies), I sometimes feel guilty for joking and laughing on a thread like this.

Yes, he might have expressed it differently from what I read.

Joking and laughter is good. When we have to pray, we pray hard. When we can play, we play hard! :)

Thanks. I have to admit, I was driving right after logging off earlier, thinking about those "belly" posts and I literally started laughing out loud in the car. :)

The "belly" posts were wonderful!

Life is meant to be lived fully.. "lustfully" - in the right sense of the word. But there are many people who think the goal in life is to turn men into "nice little boys" and women into "dutiful, faithful servants." Oh well.

I just read the best book, "Wild at Heart", by John Eldridge.

God made boys and men to be wild at heart and society is trying to do just what you said. He talks about the wounds men receive early on from fathers or others (I think he's a psychologist). Great book for men and women, especially mothers of boys.

The main premise of the book is men were made for adventure and they need a beauty to rescue (and some other stuff but I can't remember all of it. ) Guess I'll need to read it again.
