But there has been peace between Egypt and Israel since. That is an accomplishment. Although it takes a lot of money and many military systems from the US on both sides to keep these two appart.

Sure, there's peace, we're paying both sides five billion dollars collectively, to just simply reload for the next war. They've had 20-plus years to do that, should be a doozy when it starts....
