Re #14 Nice observations that bear repeating.

Grayout at less than 45% is not good, not good at all, for a well known incumbent.

And yes, South/Grayout overplayed their outrage and Simon, even in the presstitutes' reports, comes off as much a victim as Davis.

And yes, the photo still stung--Grayout with a sh#t eating grin taking big bucks from a suited bearded fatcat.

And finally, there is more to come--the "High Political Figure" in Nathanson's letter, a la Toricelli. Why did Grayout want to keep it from the public for the past two years? Hmmm. Kinda answers itself. Already, South is trying to slam Nathanson. But there is nothing he can do. There will be stories on it. They won't be pretty despite the pressholes' spin. And Grayout's numbers won't go up. Hehehehe.

Simon will be our next governor....

FWIW...Dick Morris just said on KRLA that if the poll numbers on Election Day are still at Davis-45 Simon-35 that Simon would win. He said that Davis is in serious trouble & any incumbent is in serious trouble if their numbers are under 50.

Re#22 Cool. That is the conventional wisdom. Another is that it is hard to get negatives down and positives up--especially for a known candidate. Grayout is in a world of hurt. The lefty pressholes know it. The allegation by COPS was in Section C, page 5 of my Scripps Howard fishwrap yesterday. The "mistake" was on the front page this morning. It will get more shrill. Watch what they do with the Nathanson letter. Simon is going to surprise many, again....

As to the rest of the candidates, *sigh*

Rob Brown R could beat Patty Berg D in the First District if enough Greens vote for Thon.

Green Party candidate Peter Camejo has eight percent of the vote,

We must hint to our less informed neighbors to vote for Camejo.

And finally, there is more to come--the "High Political Figure" in Nathanson's letter, a la Toricelli.

This letter must have the potential to be highly damaging, otherwise Gray-Out would have leaked it to the press well ahead of the election. It was the Clinton's MO to leak damaging info to the press and put their spin on it ahead of time. And if nothing else, Gray-Out is a Clinton wanna be.

The fact that Gray-Out hasn't leaked the info to the press and spun it to his advantage reveals that 1) he hoped it wouldn't be made public until AFTER the election and that 2) it is "unspinnable".

This isn't over yet.

Yep. Good points. Methinks that the letter will find its way out before voting time. The Sac Bee spent big bucks to get it and Grayout spent big bucks to bury it. Already Gary South is trying to do the "convicted crook" lack of credibility argument. *rubbing hands together, mumbling hehehehe*

This race is over. Dems are going to sweep every statewide office and may even assume 2/3 control of the state legislature.

I hope I'm wrong, I really do.

Looking on the bright side, once the Dems completely take over, they'll pass a law banning unhappiness. Sure, the State will suck out loud, but you won't be unhappy about it. (And if you are, you'll be getting a visit from the Happy Patrol's dynamic entry team at 3 am to cheer you up.)

Riordan would have been better than Davis. At least it's a step in the right direction. It also could have helped another more conservative candidate in the future.

The 9th Circuit overturned Karlton in December 2001, ruling that there was "no adequate justification" for withholding the documents.

But the letters were not released because an unnamed "private citizen" appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court to keep the names from being revealed.

unnamed "private citizen" = Davi$ or agent acting for Davi$

First, after the redistricting, the Dems can in no way win 2/3rd vote of the Legislature. They MIGHT be able to get Reps down to 29 seats, but that's really the worse-case scenario. We'd still have 3 in the Assembly. We will maintain a 1 seat lead (not majority, just votes above one-third) in the Senate, 2 if Jeff Denham beats Areias in a very competitive central valley race.

McClintock and Olberg are ahead in every poll EXCEPT the LA Times poll. They are both CONSERVATIVE, PRO-LIFE, PRO-GUN REPUBLICANS. I don't think that any of the other Republicans have a chance, because they are running against an incumbent and have NO MONEY. But McClintock and Olberg are DEFINTELY in the running.

The Simon-Davis race is definitely a toss-up. Anything can happen. We have more than 3 weeks to go, and the latest polls show Simon closing in, slowly but surely.

Davis is a corrupt power-hungry megalomaniac. We HAVE TO DUMP DAVIS!!!!!
