I tried to buy insurance against meteors and volcanos but Allstate was selling it. For floods and earthquakes, I had to go to the gummint.

Once on board, the men moved around and "decided to get more comfortable" on the plane,

You can do that? I always thought you had to maintain the seat you were assigned... boy do I feel stupid!

I agree their actions were harmless but when put together with their being Middle Eastern, I think that is what raised the flag. I think that it is a sign of the times.

I myself have paid a surcharge in cash and have certainly changed seats on a less than full flight.

There were box cutters and another sharp object (have to recheck) found in a shampoo and a lotion bottle at the Salt Lake Airport

As I recall that stuff was caught in the preflight security check(Amazing...!)

They are messing with people's minds and playing games.

Yes, you know how that little story goes, Peter and the Wolf. But the terrorists are using this little story to their advantage. Play enough with people's minds, play enough games.....well, you know how the story ends: people begin to ignore LEGITIMATE cries for help because all the previous cries of concern were proven "unfounded." Granted, some of these events are random and coincidental, and should be "nonconcerns." But I dare say, many are not.

In the process, those who cry "wolf" are made to look foolish....and this works right in with their plans to have people either (1)stop crying wolf out of embarrassment, or (2) begin to be ignored because there's too many "unfounded incidents."

What say you?

Now, the thought of anyone paying cash and flying anonymously is feared by the sheeple

The use of cash has made one suspect for some time now. Any purchase that amounts to $10,000.00, requires an IRS form be filled out.

Use IRS Form 8300 (Report of Cash Payments Over $10,000 Received in a Trade or Business).

We've lost something precious, bit by bit, over the years.

No, we didn't lose it bit by bit. We lost a whole bunch of something precious on September 11, 2001.

None on this forum are comfortable with the loss of our freedoms. Most are, however, willing to endure the loss for the short term while we rid our country of this Islamic trash.

I suspect many will join your choir if the government does not purge this element from our society within this decade and asks us to accept these realities as a long term solution.

As I've reported before, this is not uncommon, these men want to be thrown off of planes, then file suits against the airlines, hoping for a quick settlement.

A neighbor pilor has told me the behavior is common, and so long as the airlines settle, which it appears they do, it will continue.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I'll just keep my gun at home from now on

Who said anything about giving up your gun? On the contrary, increased surveilance and gun control both flow from the same statist impulse. The statist "conservative" wants more surveilance, at least of Muslims; the statist "liberal" wants you to keep your gun home.

Only the true libertarian opposes both impulses.

Middle Eastern Men were acting suspicious and removed from a flight...

They were not "acting suspicious." They were moving about the cabin. Lots of passengers move about airline cabins, to get a better seat after the plane takes off (more room to lie down, or watch the movie), or to talk to someone. They also paid cash. The govt prints cash. If they don't want us to use it, they shouldn't print it.

AAAHHH THE SKY IS FALLING

That's exactly your reaction if you see a Muslim (gasp!) moving about the cabin (gasp, gasp!).

Get a grip. It's because of that panicky paranoid attitude that planes get turned around for no reason.

I know the State wants me to believe there are terrorists under my bed. I know many "conservatives" already see Muslims in their closets and under their beds. Well, I've yet to reach that point or paranoia. Sorry.

Obviously something only a terrorist would do.

On a flight last January, I took some photos from the plane window. I'm lucky I'm not Muslim, or else the plane might have been turned back with Air Force escort.

Sometimes terrorist "test" a system to find weak points. Hats off to our guys for pulling them off the plane.

Were these "Middle Easterners" Americans? If so, they were our guys. They were Americans, same as you and me.
