Few things in life cost so little yet mean so much. I've never been a big fan of the saying, "the best things in life are free".

Try a game of mine--when reading the news, substitute the words "paid for by someone else" for the word "free". It works well and typically makes the story far more accurate--and it's fun!

I personally feel much better about FR no longer being "free" (paid for by someone else)!

Be well, Friend

This cat doesn't qualify for the challenge - it's one I saw while driving through the country on a misty morning

Thanks! I understand your point, but at the same time I like it that everybody has FREE access to FR, and that is exactly why I make it a priority to donate what I can even though it isn't a lot, to help keep it "free" and all that that means.

I'm sorry folks.....this is what happens at times when you live in B.F.E. (translation available only via FRmail)...phone lines in and out. Anyway....here is a new bomb thread should you wish to use it. I'll try and get this up before phone lines might go out again.

We ALL need support at times, dont we?

How about "supporting" so that Free Republic remains the BEST website on the internet!

It was a neat little airplane. It was vastly improved with the F-20 airframe - gave it a little bit better engine than those two J-85 drone engines. Those were a pain in the a$$ to work on. Thankfully, I didn't have to work on them much. Give me a full-bore, full-sized turbofan engine anytime.

Yes, we're talking about airplanes, Sungirl. We're not talking about racial discrimination or stereotypes. Any particular reason you'd post a link to a foul-mouthed "parody" on a conservative website?
