TOP TEN REASONS TO CONTRIBUTE TO FREE REPUBLIC (with apologies to my good cyberfriend Mudboy Slim)
10. No one is asking you to give a million dollars, just give a little more $ than some cheapskate like Mudboy Slim
9. Because the more $ you contribute, and the sooner, the sooner we'll have the resources to police these threads and protect ourselves from the likes of Mudboy Slim
8. Because if we all unite together and keep this site going and populous, our voices will drown out the Mudboy Slim posts
7. Because just posting in cyberspace isn't enough to change the world: Free Republic has to become even stronger and more stable so that it can help change the real world and make it a better place for the young children of today, lest they grow up to be like Mudboy Slim.
6. Because it's important to do at least your share, where people like Mudboy Slim duck their responsibilities.
5. Because it's just as well to forgo that extra beer at the bowling alley, lest you begin to look like Mudboy Slim.
4. Because not all the people on this website have Freep names like "Mudboy Slim."
3. To increase the legal defense fund so that when Mudboy Slim sues me, he can't take my swimming pool.

Hey, cut me a break: I admitted I'd never so much as seen you! And since you ADMIT that I don't have a swimming pool, and indeed it is but early fall, plus I am an extremely capable litigator, I couldn't possibly be either skating or a lady!
This sort of confused logic is one more reason, people, why y'all need to contribute to Free Republic and improve the real estate values!! :::ducking::::

But seriously, people like Mudboy and Grampa Dave and Diver Dave (and basically *all* the Daves)are very good reasons to give just a little $. Mudboy gives, and God knows how many children he has! (oops, sorry, there I go again)
