<< This are just bozo Brits barfing ... In the end the government stands with us. That's what counts. >>
Rubbish.
I doubt that even the government stands with us. But if the people do not [And they most definitely do NOT!] it doesn't matter what the gummint says.
That's what lost Vietnam.
The [DemocRAT] "administration" and feral gummint -- all Hell-bent on enriching themselves from corruption and war profiteering [Lyndon Baines Johnson, a career grade-school-teacher and civil servant, who never picked up an honest private-enterprise check, left an estate valued at around Half a Billion 2002 Dollars!] -- neglected to enlist the American Nation to Vietnam's cause and then quit, leaving, as usual, their stinking mess -- and several hundred thousand casualties -- for Republicans to clean up and heal.
The war was not lost but we had to pack up and came home.
Count ALL the EURO-peons OUT!

Please add me to the Mark Steyn ping list.

This one is a wonderful read. This Steyn guy should do this writing thing for a living!

"This column won't see the light of day in its present form in the country of 'freedom of the press.'" Steyn often has similar articles published when he reworks his Tely column for the National Post in Canada and vice-versa. I'm wondering if that line will make the cut if this article gets printed in Canada.
To: badfreeper
Well, we know it wouldn't fly in the US. My guess
is it won't in Canada either. What's your bet?

Maybe you should get your money back for those English lessons...
To: Karl B
Uh, right ... that would be a valid interpretation of my post.

No response, huh? LOL
If you ask me, we need more boldly outspoken conservatives in America. Some of them should be elected to the Senate.
Some of the insanity we see around us today (e.g. drag queens, NAMBLA parades, Al Gore) was kept in check in years past by loud shouts of disapproval and ridicule.
That's been replaced by wimpy politically correct offensive-to-no-one speech. Bad idea.

I think they'll almost print the word: "f---" or something similar.

I agree - too many over-polite conservatives, playing by Marquis of Queensbury rules when the enemy is street-fighting. I love to watch Horowitz and Coulter in action - we need more of that.

Bump for an article so good and well-reasoned that I just emailed it to my peacenik hippy California professor brother.

Brian, your chimp has been messing with your computer again.

Perhaps we should invoke the FR Coulter rule from now on. :)

The UN is composed of thugs, dictators, and theives. They can kiss our ass. I wouldn't take the risk of putting my ass into any proximity to the core UN contingent of diaper-head sodomites...

What is this "Steyn List" you speak of? Could a lowly peon like myself join? :)
