I was wearing a Hat and boots when I was working on Wall street. I quit wearing them to work when all the execs starting wearing them. Trying to emulate JR Ewing from Dallas. (I did buy a new hat in July)

In the late 70's there weren't many folks in NYC that listened to country music or all news/talk - and that was all I listened to!! And 30 years later when I'm in the car it's either talk radio or country music.

I love country. And I love Texas. You know they made me an Honorary Texan when I was there last year. My brother lives in San Antone and we had a grand old time there. Even got to FReep some lefties there. Texas is great!!

Ahhh..Texas - Home of the Big Texan, Free 72oz Steak Dinner, Tornado Museum, and a big ol Rattlesnake. Not to mention the Biggest cross in the western hemisphere. I miss my trips through there, looks like it will be March before I make it out again. Anyone on here ever get that steak?

I would say we are lucky to live here, but it is not luck - that would cheapen the great sacrifices made for our freedoms over the 200+ years we have been here.

Yeah, we just got those pics done in California last trip the wife took out there. Sadly her folks are democrats, one of them elected, so I try not to go out and see them myself too often. We NEVER discuss politics, have to keep the peace ya know!

My husband (Coolbreeze, primarily a lurker) spent 5 years in Arizona and lived 6 years in Houston. I've never set foot in Texas - but I Love it too!!!!!!!
