To which you replied:
I do...they a rent one and the same.
I didn't say that they were. What I am asking is who cares what this man Mr. King calls himself?
You've never dropped by?
I know Purdue is "just" a big ten school.....
Ohio State on the other hand.......
There really is no comparison between OSU & the rest of "them"
From your article I can tell you'd have made an outstanding OSU Alum.
Go Bucks
It's funny you mention that.
Although she grew up just a few blocks from me, my wife's family is from South Bend. Once we had decided to get married, her folks had a cookout where all her aunts & uncles & kinfolk from South Bend came over to Gary for this shindig, and to give me the once-over.
A Notre Dame football game was on TV, and I was in the family room with four uncles, two aunts, her dad and a few other assorted folk.
I, in my infinite wisdom, opened my fool mouth and said, "I gotta respect Notre Dame's football program, but I don't like 'em very much."
You could have heard a pin drop as every head in the room turned to look in my direction. Rachel (She-who-must-be-obeyed) looked mortified. I'm sure she thought she was going to lose me on the spot.
After a full thirty seconds of stony, scowling silence, one of her uncles slapped me on the shoulder and said, "I like him! He's stupid, but I like him!"
Freepmail me if you ever get down here for a game.
I buy you a beer and a brat.
OSU - 66 indiana - 13
I haven't before, but I'm gonna have to, now!
Please pass along my most effusive but respectful compliments.
You don't sound like a 'bot to me. You sound alot like.... like me.
Great read.
I believe your heart is probably in the right place - please don't take offense, but I need to say this: I think one way we can all help race relations in this country is to cease generalizing about groups of people. I know a lot of black people. I don't know one who is unemployed, on welfare, or has a behavioral problem that needs straightening out.
I agree that the black community in general deserves to hear their strong, conservative leaders (and they're out there - my pastor is one, and he's very outspoken), and that the voice of the black conservative has been drowned out for far too long. But that's starting to change. Let's do what we can to help by not talking about black Americans in general as though they are a problem in our society. Please.
LTNS???????
So to you, Hillary Clinton is ultra-conservative? Zowie!
