You should talk to my brother, perhaps he's an extreme case though. Cronic dope smoker......feet don't hit the floor in the morning without scorchin' a root. Real nut-ball. Poster boy for why you shouldn't smoke dope. Started out a normal kid, how 45 and wildly paranoid....no ambition. He might have about 6 or 7 brain cells working on a good day. Had all the breaks in life but still can't hold down a job for more than a few weeks. One way trip to loserville. No one can ever convince me, ever, that dope smoking doesn't effect your brain in an adverse way. Go peddle that less addictive stuff somewhere else.

perhaps he's an extreme case thoughHe certainly is. Why should ALL adults have their freedom restricted because SOME adults can't handle freedom?

Under my program your narcotics dealer will be executed or exiled from this great nation. You will hit a dry patch unless you grow your own poppies or coca.
You druggies (libertarians) only tear us down. Traitors as sure as Tommy Daschle. You are not worthy of respect

more intense patrol of the U.S.-Mexico border after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks may have forced marijuana production into the United States. Even with the risk of discovery, it may be easier to grow it in the United States instead of trying to smuggle it across the border. Eight Mexicans, all illegal aliens, were arrested on charges of conspiring to intentionally manufacture marijuana
So much for "intense patrol" of the border!!!????

Well, let's start with I have/had 7 brothers, 3 of which are regular Pot smokers, all three have steady jobs, and lives.
One brother, died from years of abuse of alcohol.
Three brothers, who don't drink much, or smoke ever.
Just like in Mayberry RFD. you will always have an Otis the town drunk,
or Jeff Spicoli. If it wasn't Pot, I'd bet your brother would be on something else,
an Addictive personality is and addictive person.
I have seen it, and if Pot was as addictive as you would have us believe I would have 3 brothers living like yours,
so go peddle your gov't propoganda somewhere else.

Missed that bit; my bad. But you can bet that US-born Caucasian citizens grow their share of the national parks' pot fields. Wonder who was fronting the eight illegals that got nabbed?

We must defoliate the entire state. Demon weed cannot be allowed to grow anywhere. After defoliation of California shall follow defoliation of the rest of the country followed by the world. At this point "victory" will have been achieved. We will all bask in the glory of being drug-free while we starve to death.
Is there anything worse than a Drug Warrior? No, of course not. Wait! I think I hear a march!
The March of the Brigade
Here is the march of the Brigade!
The Live Like I Do Brigade!
We know you think it's your life but you're wrong!
And that is the very reason for this song!
To demand you do what we think is best* and you will see!
The only "good" kind of life is lived by me!
And those who think like me regarding this issue of course.
*Those who do not comply subject to kidnapping and false imprisonment

Let's legalize murder.Oh, my, the tiredest, stupidest, most ignorant strawman in the history of the War on (Some) Drugs. Let's see how ignorant you are: What is the fundamental difference between the crime of murder and the "crime" of growing a plant?
To: Illbay
Surely the wheels on that bogus analogy need some WD-40, it's been hauled out so often. Murder is obviously different from drug dealing or drug use; it has a victim.

It's not about "deterrence," it's about "prevention."At the high school, Walters asked several dozen assembled students how many knew other students who took drugs, and almost all of them raised their hands. At Stewart-Marchman's Residential Addiction Program, he heard from teens who told him that drugs were everywhere
And the drug war "prevents" how, exactly?
To: dennisw
Execute and/or exile. Exile for pot dealers. Execute the heroin/crack/coke dealers and let God sort 'em out. Few will mourn these detritus. Not even their mamas that they stole from. ZzzzzzzzzZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZz.
Troll alert.

The plural of "anecdote" is not "data." VERY nice. But I think it'll be over the heads of most WODdies.

Stop bothering me **** fer brains. But you never answered his question. Does this mean you can't answer his question? And if you can't answer his question, what does that say about the credibility of your opinions, like summarily killing human beings for what they put in their bodies or give to others to willingly put in their bodies?

RE:Kentucky
How true. Areas with a moonshine pedigree have taken to growing marijuana, much as there grandfathers ran stills. I'm partial to the Kentucky product myself.
