Remember in advance of the release of FOTR, review after review kept coming out positive? It reassured me plenty that Jackson might have done justice to the book.
Here's hoping for the same with TTT!

Can someone explain how to post a thread like this to The Hobbit Hole? The Hobbit Hole Topic Only works on the General Interest side, not on the news side.
When the activity dies down on this thread, or when sourcery wants to, we can ask that this thread be moved over there so we can file it with the rest of them ;~D

I'll have it at the Moot, my friend!
Midnight movie here I come!

The Two Towers is going to be the most amazing film of the year. I am taking off the day it opens to see it a couple of times The IT infrastructure department shop where I work is reserving a 100 man executive screening room for 12/19 for this film.
We're REALLY amped about going to see it.

Has anyone ever talked about a five movie version of "Once and Future King"? With classic fantasy bringing in big bucks, it seems time. I like to see the Pythons write and produce it. Actually if someone in Hollywood was smart they would fire up the engines for the Dragonlance saga. THAT would be a money making fiend of a fantasy movie.

I've already ordered the Expanded Gift Version (5 hours, with the little model Ents) of the
The Two Towers DVD from Amazon.
Shipping in November, 2003.

I suggest moving the thread to the Hobbit Hole tomorrow, as long as posting activity has become minimal by then.
