Either the governments of those countries issue unequivicol condemnation of the people involved on the attacks or we consider the countries hostile.

And -- either every imam in this country publicly condemns all terror in the name of their religion, or we assume they're hostile, search their mosques, and shut them down if necessary.

Freedom of religion and freedom from religious persecution presupposes that the religion being practiced is not advocating the destruction of the country and the people within it. Religion or not, any such organization should be treated as traitors and enemy combatants.

Wasn't it you who jumped up and down and screamed when I said the same thing back in Decmeber when the Indian gov. basically capulated to Pakistan? Your arguement was that Israel has the US backing them so they know that they can exert force on the Arabs. Whereas India does not have the backing of the US....Well, what changed your point-of-view....The truth of the matter is India will never get an endorsement to wage war. Not even Israel gets that endorsement. Look what happened at the UN yesterday. If India has it's enemy in it's sights, then shoot damnit, don't ask the US for permission.
