Great Plan - even the wording is just about perfect right out of the box!
Count me in - I'll pony up real $$ to be a part of this. How about $200 for openers?
Keep me posted.......Hardstarboard

Hm, all the usual boneheads -- the oh-so-trendy latte limousine "liberals" -- the likes of which who've destroyed a once proud Democratic party and who, while I didn't always agree with their platforms, there was never any question of their loyalty to the US and their staunch anti-communism. Those days, it would appear, are long gone.
But -- they are a useful indicator for me, as I've not the time to closely examine every issue all the time, but if they are for it, I'm against it, and if they are screaming bloody murder, then I *know* we are right on target. Fire for effect.

How much would it cost...if we all chipped in...to buy one ad. Count me in for a couple bucks.

Be nice if there was a Fox News equivalent in the movie industry that effectively challenges the leftwing bias by serving the market that the left-coast producers have alienated. A good producer that makes movies with conservative/libertarian themes and doesn't use actors or actresses that have openly trashed America.
That doesn't sound like an impossible wish insofar as at least half of America is a potentially big market. But somehow I think using ghosted computer-generated realistic characters is the best way to ensure the hired help don't offend the customers.

"I thought Jane Fonda learned her lesson." I remember laughing when Henry referred to her as "My Alleged daughter"
Whenever I write about her, I always refer to her as Henry's daughter, though. I don't consider her as a talent in her own right.

Great post! I might add the question," Which American City are the celebrity's willing to bet that Saddam does not have WMD?" How's 'bout Hollywood!

Last time I checked, Bush has had just one wife. How many for Earle? Six, seven....who knows?

Thus we call on all Americans to RESIST the war and repression that has been loosed on the world by the Bush administration. It is unjust, immoral, and illegitimate. We choose to make common cause with the people of the world. We will not hand over our consciences in return for a hollow promise of safety. We say NOT IN OUR NAME. We refuse to be party to these wars and we repudiate any inference that they are being waged in our name or for our welfare.
"NOT IN OUR NAME" says defending oneself and the nation is "immoral and unjust". They don't want any war lead by the evil Bush administration to be fought in their name. When Hollywood, Beverly Hills and other rich celebrity communities are hit by terrorists let's remember they said they don't want war in their name.

"
We too mourned the thousands of innocent dead and shook our heads at the terrible scenes of carnage -- even as we recalled similar scenes in Baghdad, Panama City, and, a generation ago, Vietnam."They seem to have left out Bosnia and the aspirin factory in Sudan. Hmmmmmmmm.

While I happen to agree with one or two points that they make in their article (esp about the Patriot act and the attacks on the Constitution), I have to say that I'm surprised that its taken the libs this long.
We all know that they despise America, and they probably believe that US racism and exploitation somehow provoked the 9/11 attacks. They were either too intimidated or too ashamed to voice these opinions for the first year or so after the attacks....but they're out of the closet now. Even Algore got into the act today.
To: fight_truth_decay
How did the celebs earn the right to tell us what is or isn't said in "Our Name"? Who is the we here? Fanworld?
If the we is the government, doesn't the democratic process determines the chain of command for speaking for the U.S. government policy, subject to checks and balances of course, including criticism.
Something mystical must happen when the cameras are rolling to endow these stars with their wondrous wisdom.

First thought that came to my mind as well as I perused the list and saw the usual pathetic suspects.

I looked through the
list and don't find her...
.. but some of these names/occupations are hilarious..
Mary Van Lieshout, U.S. Citizens in Ireland for Alternatives to War
John Stanton, national security analyst & football coach
Stefanie Seskin, singer/songwriter blue number nine (????)
Leslie P. Salgado, Chair, Maryland-Cuba Friendship Coalition
John T. Racanelli, presiding judge (ret.), California Court of Appeal (if he is retired, he's no longer presiding, right?)
William Tyson Painter: Student/Webmaster/Musician (unemployed?)
Anuradha Mittal, co-director, Institute for Food and Development Policy/Food First
Jordan Scott Merrell, #12549651, Oregon State Prison
Candace Martin, governor of enlightenment
Rev. Thomas Ferranti, local tv/radio producer, cartoonist, publisher, musician (busy man)
Cecilia Chang, Chairperson, Wen Ho Lee Defense Fund Steering Committee
Dale Bennett, common man, world citizen
other than that, pretty much, the list consists of poets/writers/other type folks. Sad to see a name of the mother of a victim of WTC on the list. Didn't see Julia Roberts on it.. hmm.

" Didn't see Julia Roberts on it.. hmm."
She probably, through her publicist, refused to be listed unless she got top billing. :)

If you're going to use stability of marriage as a measure of the superior integrity of conservatives over liberals your argument doesn't hold any weight on that measure either.
Neither does yours.

I didn't say that he and I agree on everything. I especially like John Stossel. Other then the fact that I really proud that my sons all pay attention, the point I was trying to make is that if more people had those convictions traitors like these wouldn't have as much money, and airtime to advance their cause.
