Any ideologically or emotionally charged issue ISN'T suitable at all for polling. Pollsters should keep using this method for ranking best selling vacuum cleaners, but stop to pretend that it works anywhere close to the reality in political issues.

But they never would, would they? The sociology, this favourite pseudo science of the leftie intelligentsia, is part of the post-modernist bullshit which provides pretty good chank of bread (and butter) to too many of them.
