Please post your ideas and suggestions here...
STARS
sing for
RATs?
No more GREEN
for GRAY!
I have not yet been able to generate that PERFECT phrase...
We would like to tie in a slam at money-hungry "Pay for Play" CA Governor eGray Davis.
We do NOT yet know if he will be there, as this is a NATIONAL Rat fundraiser, but just the mention of campaign cash ought to get him drooling...
We may be able to MODIFY some of the ideas from our recent
"Dump DAVIS" FReep in Beverly Hills:
Where we looked MARVELOUS!!!

L to R: Cinnamon Girl, absalom01 as "GRAY Reaper," RonDog's non-FR friend Big John, Cinnamon Girl's daughter (in the stroller),
RonDog as the "eGray hooker," feinswinesuksass.
(Not in THIS picture, but also at our FReep were DoughtyOne and Tony in Hawaii.)
What say you, fellow FReepers?
Please add your creative ideas here.

I so want to be at this one! I'll have to come pretty late, though. But costumes making a mockery of Barbra and signs with arrows that say "IDIOT LIBERAL ACTORS ENTER HERE" would be fun!

Other stars billed to support Streisand on the night include Barry Manilow There is absolutely nothing I could think of that could be a worse punishment than this, even for RATs. Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.

Sheesh! Ain't it obvious? You carry a sign that says "BS & BM" ... what more could you want?

LOL!
I stopped by the Kodak Theatre this evening.
It is located right on the main tourist center of Hollywood - with LOTS of people!
As the centerpiece of the new Hollwood & Highland Center, the Kodak Theatre is directly across the street from Disney's El Capitan Theater, and just down Hollywood Boulevard from Mann's Chinese Theater, with its classic footprints in cement.
I talked to several security people, and they all said that we could protest ANYWHERE on the sidewalk - directly in front of the Theatre - where all the tourists are, as long as we do not go inside the building.
They said that the "stars" may decide to sneak in the back, though, through an underground parking structure.

Show up with a nice pic of Dubya. That'll drive
her nuts. There is some funny material in that article, too, that might give you some ideas, like:
"Hillary Special
2 FAT legs
2 SMALL BREAST
and LEFT WING
Probably not quite what you're looking for, I know, but maybe some small variation will be just the thing . . . Read through it, and other FR articles on Babs, Baldwin, etc. Lots of funny reading, there.
I like the idea of having a big helpful sign pointing to the driveway so the dumb rats can find the place. Maybe some reference to them being too dumb to operate a chad. Good luck, and thanks for all the good work you do!

Forgive me if this sounds non-PC, but how could any Jewish American not support Bush, especially with his sweeping and gutsy support of Israel? Do they really want to be associated with the party of McKinney, et al, or the pro-Palestinian, Arafat-embracing Hillary Clinton? I realize that support of Israel isn't the only issue for most people, but why join a party that contains so many antisemitic elements?

From
http://www.centredaily.com/mld/centredaily/news/3942738.htm:
SHE'S RETIRED ONLY FOR REPUBLICANS
Barbra Streisand, who gave her last live performance at New York's Madison Square Garden two years ago, has agreed to perform at a $500-a-plate Democratic fundraiser next month, Time magazine reports.
The two-time Oscar-winning actress and singer (and staunch Democrat) has often confessed that she suffers from severe stage fright and hates singing live. Still, Democrats hope the Sept. 29 fundraiser, to be held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, will raise as much as $4 million for their party.
Streisand, 60, is no stranger to stumping for the Democrats. As a friend of the Clinton administration, she supported Al Gore's 2000 bid for the presidency with an appearance at the Shrine Auditorium that raised $5 million. Barry Manilow also is expected to join Babs for the fundraiser.

Sad, pathetic lineup of idiots. The disappointments for me, because I thought they would have known better, are David Foster (for whom it may be strictly a paid gig but he still shouldn't be doing it), Mel Brooks, Steve Martin, Nancy Sinatra, and Martin Short. The rest I already knew were airheads. Hollyweird is now obviously one of the main sources of Dem dollars.
