Supervisors of elections in the counties in question have had entirely too much discretion for years, and seem to be either unwilling or unable to abide by the stated rules, choosing instead to interpret them to the advantage of the political party of their personal bias, or else they fail to understand the simplest part of the requirements. One hesitates to deny local autonomy in these cases, but clearly, malfeasance and sheer incompetence have dominated their actions.
One of the beneficiaries of this policy of malign neglect was a former Congressman and impeached judge, Alcee Hastings, who has never, to the best of anyone's recollection, met up with any sort of political corruptions he did not immediately embrace. Not content to be merely an outspoken member of the Black Caucus, and an avowed Marxist, he also believes the problem is entirely the fault of the Republican Governor and Legislature of Florida, not just as a political posture, but as an article of faith. The question is, How? There are not that many Republican operatives in either Palm Beach or Miami-Dade county government, and they surely don't have the keys to the back rooms there. Systems that work perfectly well elsewhere, somehow fail in those jurisdictions. Truth is, there is no incentive for WANTING the unbiased polling of the public to be effectively recorded, as this would end the domination by the very small clique of power brokers in those localities. Accountability is such a ß¡+ç#.

Good one.
Have you seen the Alabama quarter?
It's a nickel and two dimes taped together.

"Even though the Democrats set everything up for the voting process and did not tell a lot of people how to turn the machines on, they are going to blame this fiasco on the Governor. Go Figure!"
Nuttin to figger, they're Democrats. SOP

instead of "chad build-up" we now have "smudge build-up" on the Touch Screen machines. Of course, this seems to occur only in Democratic strongholds in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Well, Democrats ARE more slimy.

My guess is about 40% of voters everywhere are too stupid to vote.
Bottom of the gene pool material with zero knowledge of current events or the concept of cause-effect.

"decades of ballot box stuffing cannot keep up with voter rejection of Democrat candidates."
Democrats rejected?? Oh, my lord! Can it be? (sarcastic tone on afore mentioned, of course) The truth is just too horrible for the dems to accept, so they have to fabricate yet another conspiracy. This "victim" thing is really, really grating on me now. I think I'll drop dead in shock if I ever hear them admit to their own mistakes. No worries though. I'm sure I'll die a natural death before that ever happens. Snowflakes in hell will happen before that...

Hmmmmmmm....6805 ??? I'll get back to you in a couple hours with 6806

Very good summary ....
Let's see if this will show up on the "national" press corpse in TV and the weekly magazines ...
/sarcasm off

..and some foreign language ballots Help me out here. When I took "civics" in high school, I was taught that naturalized citizens HAD TO pass English tests and other subjects. If they cannot pass the English tests then how did they become citizens? If they are not citizens, how are they voting? What has changed? (or what am I missing?)

A little on the optomistic side, aren't you?
To: RipSawyer
Or should I have said optimistic? I just washed my hands and I can't do a thing with them.

It doesn't matter if the Democratic poll workers were illiterate and downright stupid, just as long as they properly represented diversity!
