Bump and a comment to Letterman Bump. By the way did anybody hear Tony Blair's speech, it was STRONG! Mike Savage played it and I think Hannity or Rush did too.

Are you saying that Bush has already shown some of that stuff to Congress?

Remember this, Clinton taped this at 5; he had no clue what Bush was going to say. He'll come out, basking in the limelight, laugh too loud, and basically give his usual speil.

Now, do you think the people of NYC are in the mood to hear his babble after today?

The reports I have seen on the breifing have indicated that most appear to be very upset be the size and scope of the evidence against SH. These developments would not have happened overnight. Many of the tools used to gather it were available under Clinton but ruled off limits.

Clinton knows this. I think he is trying to keep this legacy thing alive and will work to deflect as much criticism as possible. We seem to see more of Clinton right before a bad news story is about to break on him. Hey, I'm just playing the percentages.

Hey! I have a lot more respect for Pee Wee Herman than I do for the ex-fornicator of state, impeached POTUS Beezlebubba! Let's show a little respect here!

Bill's appearance is a wonderful thing. Millions who watched 60 Minutes' interview with GWB--an real human being--will perhaps still be watching when that bag of sh** Clinton again tries to focus the spotlight on himself and his brainless platitudes. The starkness and proximity of the contrast between the two men may actually shake millions of Clinton's gullible fans from their illusions. I sense a devine hand in this!

I'd be depressed to, if I were him. Bush had a very good day.

We shall watch!

Maybe I'll win the lottery and have a mixed singles "match" with Anna Kournikova while I'm fantasizing.

Speaking of winning the lottery. In NY this evening the winning numbers for the "pick 3" was 9-1-1.

(insert twilight zone theme music here)

Clinton is a limp-d**ked punk who was equally limp-d**ked as "President".

I put that vaunted title in quotations only in Clinton's case, for he doesn't deserve and never has deserved........let alone earned..........the title. That slimebag used car salesman can kiss my ass.

I know that the guys on The Best Damn Sports Show Period said that they would like to have Clinton on their show. That will probably be the next stop for Bubba on the talk show circuit.

Yeah, I could see Clinton on that show in an Arkansas football jersey and a Georgetown hat, cocked sideways... Iverson style. Bubba would fit right in with Tom Arnold and Michael Irvin.

Anyone who remembers Letterman's interview with Mrs. Clinton during her senate campaign and pop quiz she aced and the softball questions is not surprised by tonight. Letterman came out during that interview as clearly a lib dem supporter. I think his politics before that was murky enough to those in his audience that conservatives hoped he would go after her. No such luck.

What really annoyed me today was hearing David Gergen mentioned Clinton 'comforting' the nation after OKC bombing & then equating that to President Bush today....Gergen can be such a jerk. I was hoping we'd get through this sad day without seeing or even hearing the word clinton!

I caught that, too. Especially inappropriate with new indications of possible al quaida ties to OK. Gergen has become a liberal apologist.

And a day after having Hillary on during her Senate run, Letterman had his heart attack. You think he would have learned.....

There would be no one that could be a bigger fan of Letterman during the early and mid 80's. I say he is the reason I did not go to med school - because I would stay up late at night to watch him and not go to bed until long after 1:30am - a tradition I continue to this day. But I stopped watching him when I thought he became unfunny - right around the time he kissed Hillary's big ass.

And listen for all the fake applause they are gonna use for Clinton. When I do tune in to watch Dave these days, I have noticed they use the fake applause ALL THE TIME - and it is pathetic. In the old days he never would have done that. And the first time I noticed it was when Hillary was on - they used it to cover up the boos.

My message to Late Show:

I have been a fan of Letterman for a number of years now, going back before his departure from NBC. I have always thought him more interesting than other late night hosts.

However, I am saddened by the fact that you have chosen to have the irrelevant Mr. Clinton on the show this evening. His laughable foreign policy while in office is not so laughable anymore, as it only served to humiliate America and show our enemies that we will roll over if threatened. I daresay his weak policies and actions during his eight years in office paved the way for the September 11, 2001 tragedy.

His presence is utterly contemptable and, especially now, wholly self-serving. I am not surprised he would be seeking out a camera during this day of rememberance, though I had hoped his bumbling would have been limited to the similarly-irrelevant network news media.

Please rest assured that I will not watch this evening, and will have to seriously consider whether I watch Late Show ever again. Thanks for reading my comment,
