Monday afternoon I saw an F16 escorting a Southwest plane here in Austin, Texas. I haven't seen anything about that here. Maybe it's just getting to be an everyday occurance.

I have no idea IF they were arrested. Local news here (you know where it happened) are reporting that the marshals never broke their cover and the pilot returned because one stewardess saw something she thought was odd.

ABC news Houston carrying live news conference from Bush Airport. Stewardess saw folding pocket comb in passengers pocket thought it was razor, other passenger not sitting in right seat. Marshals did not get involved. Arrested but now no charges will be filled. Released.

Good point. When I flew back from LA to Houston three weeks ago the stewardess yelled "STOP" really loud. We were all ready to jump up and jump on someone, but she said the food delivery man had opened the door into the area where she was standing. It hurt and she screamed. She said those doors are heavy and she feared being crushed. If it had been a terrorist or hijacker, there would have been a herd of passengers on him like white on rice. She later came back and explained to passengers that she tried to motion to him through the window and he didn't look up or see her. So she screamed. It was blood curdling. We all told her that 9/11 came instantly to our minds. We were relieved that it was not a hijacking.

Terror you say? It's 1964,Saturday,midnight, I'm 16 and me and my buddy Hank walk into Nolas lounge on Dowling and order a beer. We're the only 2 white people within at least 10 miles. Damn that beer was good. Barely got out of there alive. The 300 lb. Go Go dancer in the bay window beckoned for us to come closer. We jumped in the car and headed for South Park Blvd. and home.

Thanks for the info. We can't find anything about it on the news. That folding comb does look deadly if you don't know it is just a comb. My son orders things like that from a catalogue. I assure you I will live a long healthy life. Kind of curious though, what makes you think this indiviual did not purposely carry that type of comb on board? What also makes you think this wasn't a test to see how we would react? If that is the case then are you trying to tell me it wasn't terrorist related? Do you read minds? Or maybe you were on that plane?

Until disproved I stand by my earlier assumption. Oh and if you ask the same questions of me, any idiot(Middle Eastern in this case) that brings a folding comb that looks like a switchblade on an airplane on 9-11 has a motive for doing it, and no I don't mean to comb his hair. I never said everything was "Terrorist related", keep to the subject at hand, I also stubbed my finger on a keyboard just yesterday and believe it or not, never for once assumed it was because some Terrorist had it in for me. I believe Arabs should be singled out and prove a real need to be moving around the US at this time. I also think the Japanese should have been interned in 41, and that the CIA should have most restrictions removed. I believe we need to assassinate some world leaders and that Rush is not far enough to the right. I believe when you vote you should be handed a blank piece of paper and if you can't ID the position and who is running for it then they kick your a$$ out.
