Bush's grab for power is equivalent to Hillary's grab at the health care system.
Make no mistake: Bush is NOT a conservative. We would do well to make this bird a one-termer if the Republicans can come up with a strong opponent for whatever the dems offer. Of course this won't happen; Republican elitists are no better than democratic elitiests. Personal power is their prime consideration.

Bush is NOT a conservative. I too have my reservations about Bush. He has let many leftist Bills pass his desk that should have received a crushing VETO. But I doubt any President will ever be elected in this country (or any other) that is conservative enough to please my taste.

It's odd that Mr. Bush, unable to face the truth that our own Middle East policy is responsible for Sept. 11...This is what it all comes down to for Charlie and his friends on the right. His hatred for America and Israel is so thorough that he will make excuses for mass-murder. Truly pathetic.

Who is your great "conservative" savior that will save us from this Bush menace?

it should say fear out of control, unconstitutional government, and those who operate it.BS!
This scrap with the Senate is about union representation.
There are some depts. being folded into the Homeland Security Agency that have outlandish perks. The worst one is that they cannot be transfered, demoted or canned without a union review that takes a average of a year or more.
Bush only wants to give them the same union rights that the DOD and FBI currently have so that he can steamline the agency and move folks around.
The dept. making the most fuss is not suprisingly the friggin Immigration and customs depts.(The absolutely worst ones we have!)
Now you know why changes take forever or are not even attempted in these pariah depts. You can't fire em or transfer the dummies without union approval.
Bush is not asking for much. The dems are making a political issue out of this and you have bought it hook, line and sinker. (plus the bobber)

I take it, that you revel in Dem presidents, then and that you and Charlie wear sackclothe and ashes everyday, because we are all just sooooooooooooooo horrid. Well, you and he are on the wrong side of this one.
To: GalvestonBeachcomber
Let me remind you.....Anyone who will stand with Robert Byrd is a fool.

We have had ignorant men occupy the presidency several times, but none, I think, as ignorant of the Constitution and as disinclined toward freedom as George Bush. The smartest president we have ever had, as the Clintonista's say, knew the Constitution like the back of his hand and look how he treated it. In case you forgot, the butler looking after the Oval Office restroom spent a considerable amout of time picking pieces of it after our genius president wiped love juice on it.

Even Ross Perot would be better than what we have.

That's what I thought just another man without a plan. Just whine, bitch and stomp your feet.

Boy oh boy, are YOU ever on the WRONG web site, if you are
THIS blinkered and ill informed !
You think that Ross is even a Conservative ? After having made his money through government contracts ... for decades ? You think that he , tinfoiled, beyond belief, is superior, in any way, to President Bush ? WOW ... do YOU need help and quickly !

Or Pat Buchannan!

Last I heard old Ross was under 24 hour care since that "incident" with his daughter's wedding. I think Lyndon LaRouche is still available; he missed his ride on the Hale-Bopp mother ship. Is John Anderson still around? Maybe they can re-animate Huey Long.
To: Texasforever
ROTFLMSO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Long is long dead and I doubt he can be resurected , Ross was on T.V. today, and sounded nuts as ever ( the men in the white coats , were waiting for him , in the " green room", I'm sure ! ),Anderson is also dead, and isn't LaRouche in jail ? :-)
