Seems only fitting to show
both of Diver Dave's grandsons with the Pledge of Allegiance this morning. Christian led the Pledge at his Kindergarten Graduation this year, and Dave wrapped Logan in the flag and photographed him for the second photo.

No one deserves to be in the spotlight more than you, Diver Dave! You missed like what, one(?) Modesto FReep in about a year? Your dedication to and love of country are admirable! I am proud to know you!
Enjoy your special day!

Billie and Miss Daisy, I want to thank you for putting this together and thank you one and all for all the kind words expressed today. It was a great experience for me and I look forward to reading about future inductees into
A Few of FR's Finest...A Few of FR's Finest are scattered all over FReeRepublic - on every thread and every post. Salute to each and every one.

You are really a great guy with one minor flaw, and that is being a rabid Dodger fan. (Go Giants/A's)
That picture of your grandson with the flag wrapped around him is the greatest.
We had our grandkids up for the weekend while their Mom and Dad had a little R&R.
We started to head out yesterday morning for a little reward shopping and play time at a local park.
Before we got started, our Grand Daughter wanted to know where PaPa's American Flag was. She was the one that shamed me into buying a big one last year.
Papa who was suffering from a summer cold and the overload challenge of a 3 year old and a 19 month old had forgotten to put up the flag.
I went back to the house opened the back door got the flag and put it up. She got out and saluted it and gave me that look she has learned from my wife, her grandmother, that says, "Geez, it is a good thing that I'm around, or you might really foget something important."
Congratulations Dave, and thank you for all that you do for Free Republic and our grand children!
