Also, the treasonous policy of Klinton to "launch after impact"

Do you mean the ineffectual policy of Klinton to lob a few missiles into an empty tent? I believe we should keep our policy of retaliation for events like 9/11 along with whatever pre-emptive actions we can take against terrorist networks. But I also realize that pre-emptive actions are difficult and need to be chosen wisely.

"If we wait for the danger to become clear, it could be too late," said Sen. Joseph Biden, D-Delaware, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee.

I will review my assessment of Biden. Maybe he is only 90% an a**hole. --doug from upland

SENATOR BIDET: But I respectfully suggest, major, I respectfully suggest they have responsibilities slightly above your pay grade -- slightly above your pay grade -- to decide whether or not to take the nation to war alone or to take the nation to war part-way, or to take the nation to war half-way. That's a real tough decision. That's why they get paid the big bucks. That's why they get the limos and you don't. I mean this sincerely. I'm not trying to be flip, because I think -- and that's what I said at the outset. The reason why I'm glad you did what you did, we should come to our milk. We should make a decision. But in terms of whether the secretary of state has no more to consider than you do as the arms inspector -- you didn't get in, didn't get my job done, get me in! Period. You made the deal, right? That's the deal. A deal's a deal. Get me in! Scott Ritter, I'm ready to go. That's not how it works.

When he said "flip", was that a reference to his comb-over?

Senator Biden, do you now, or have you at any time, had your combover out of your rectum?

CROSSTALK--CROWD NOISES--GAVEL

CHAIRMAN: Order! Order!

SENATOR BIDET: Look, &($&@#!!, I'm a professional. I can read the tea leaves. And I want to make it perfectly clear I am all-abo-oard this train for Baghdad!

CHAIRMAN: Sit down, Miss Bidet. I don't wish to appear flip, but that's a little above your pay grade. That's for the Commander-in-Chief to decide, not Apollo Hair Systems.

I want the President to go to Congress and make every one of them to vote up or down on going into Iraq.

I want to know whos who.

Simple process. Simple long term solution. If Congress votes "nay" and W does nothing, then all the left wing dopey liberals can say, "Gee, we didn't know that we were at risk. After all, the two hits on the WTC, the Pentagon, and two embassies were just for fun for our friends. We are a peacefull people. We know that because our friends in Berkley, California tells us we are peacefull.

I was going to cancel this rant but figured there might be a lib lurker out there that might relate to the assinine sarcastic logic in the second part of my rant.

Regards, BulletBras

Until Klinton, we had a policy that stated we would decide whether or not to launch our missiles immediately after an enemy launched theirs. The idea being that no nation would attack us with nukes since they would be destroyed immediately upon launching them.

Klinton changed the policy to where we would not make a decision on retaliating until enemy missiles actually impacted and detonated here first. Basically, this treasonous policy sets us up for the following scenario:

China moves on Taiwan. We act to stop it. China tells us to get out of the way, and we refuse. China launches missiles taking out several US cities. Under the Klinton policy, we would then decide what to do. We can either lick our wounds and let them take Taiwain, or launch our own missiles at China. The latter option would likely not be seriously considered, since if we launched, China would launch a second round at us.

Under the "old" policy, the Chinese would not launch on us since as soon as they did, we'd have enough missiles in the air to annihilate their country ten times over.

LOL!!! Make sure you tell your students how a certain family from Arkansas had a lot to do with leaving the door open for 9/11. Aside from a certain peaceful religion, that is.

Didn't know that, thought we kept MAD policy. But regardless of our nuclear retaliation policy, China can attack Taiwan whenever it feels like it because they know we won't start a nuclear war and won't be able to defend Taiwan without a large conventional deployment which would take a long time.

Not that it makes the scenario any more appealing, but if China did this now, I suspect we'd have at least 50 missiles in the air within 10 minutes. And our entire air power would be airborne. China would have more mushrooms over it than a dark, damp bed of peat moss. <p.Well, I hope so anyways. Better to retaliate quickly and them talk than to talk about it first.

William Rivers Pitt is a teacher in the Boston area. He is a hack writer of RAT propaganda and envisions himself as a political guru. The man is a nincompoop. He posts on the RAT underground. I don't know if he still does it but I outed him for using computers at school while at work to post on websites.

Here is one of his classics ---

On an FM station chatboard he was really rolling letting off steam when someone asked him if he'd ever voted for John Kerry. Believe it or not, this political genius actually put in writing that he has not voted for Kerry because he was in Kennedy's district. Duh. I guess you vote for senators in Massachusetts by district. And this fool is teaching high school kids. He also claims that Reagan, through Ollie North sent the bomb to the Middle East that killed our Marines in Beirut. I suppose he saw the purchase order.

I am still trying to decide if he is just stupid or a mental patient.

this is how serious people act in the face of a serious threat? on what planet?

...Iraq continues to possess several tons of chemical weapons agents, enough to kill thousands and thousands of civilians or soldiers," said Jon Wolfsthal, an analyst with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace....

...later, after a dozen Scotches at the bar around the corner from Carnegie, Wolfsthal stunned journalists with some frank admissions. "Dammit, let's drop the Big One, now!' said the bleary eyed weapons expert. 'My Martin Marietta, Raytheon and McDonnell Douglas shares are, like, flatlining. And I promised my girlfriend we'd have a new skiboat for next summer. You know how much juice those 454s need?? Let's git it ON, man!'

I like to be precise, so it is possible that Pitt said he was in Kerry's distict and hadn't voted for Kennedy. Somewhere I have it printed out from the FM website before they removed the thread.

Here is his song --- MOCK WILLIAM RIVERS PITT HERE

This is a solid indication that the timerous Joey Biden is running scared. If America's osterich is running scared then I would suggest that the Dems might want to ask him what he knows.
